We don't have to boast about how good out location is! Offering you one of the best starting points during your stay, and service you probably won’t get elsewhere. With our personal care, hosts will help guide you in our city just like a friend would for you.
Important notice --- Please do not change money in Train Station or Airport if at all possible, even though it says commission free you lose almost 20% with bad rates. Try to wait or use ATM
Our helpful and informative English speaking staff will assist you anytime with arranging programs, tours, providing you with detailed, current information about Budapest including: popular sights, nightlife, quality restaurants, sports, music concerts/festivals, opera, theater and other cultural events. We can assist with current travel info, bus/train/plane timetables, and help arrange accommodation for your next destination.
We offer pleasant and secure private rooms and apartments in a tidy and home-like environment. The main residence consists of 4 rooms with shared facilities. It’s small enough to have you privacy if you wish and big enough where you are not left waiting for the bathroom. Note that this is not a hostel where you will meet tons of people if that is what you are looking for, and ensuite rooms are separate residences, very nice but private.
FREE high speed Internet access is provided 24/7 equipped with Skype and all the programs you might need to keep in touch.
Please note that we have a minimum stay of two nights.
-All ensuites (which are actually private apartments) are located near the hostel and are fully equipped w/private bathroom but do not have internet access but you are able to come use the hostel internet anytime.
-Since there are a limited number of rooms it is essential to inform us as to your arrival time to ensure staff can give a full greeting; an email is send which you need to reply letting us know.
Private touring may be arranged including: guided sightseeing, caving, biking, wine tours, and shooting.
In the neighborhood you can find many tasty Hungarian restaurants as well as other international cuisine, pubs, nightclubs on your own or with our recommendation.
Nearby there is a 24hr market, ATMs, currency exchange, post office, two metro lines, a market hall (for fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats), all night kebab stands, and 2 small supermarkets.
We will welcome you to Boomerang with a drink, choosing from our famous national drinks: Hungarian Beer, fine regional wine, or if you prefer you can try our most popular national soft drink: the Traubi Szoda. You will definitely like one of them.
