A great place!A bit quiet when i stayed but all the amenties to create a fun social atmosphere!Right by the beach and airport, but far away from town, so start or finish your trip in KK here!I rewarded myself after climbing Kinablu with this place as close to the sea and it was perfect!Great staff!

BYO Linen - worst in our entire trip. you get a towel for a blanket/sheet thing. If you are onl overnighting it is fine as is about a 10min walk from the airport - however about a 20min or $5 AUD cab fee into town where you will want to go.

I don't understand why this hostel is rated so highly and costs so much. - 20 Min+ from the city centre by bus and 30 min wait for bus - Basic and clean room - Close to one of the worst beaches i have ever been to and the worst beach i have been to in Malaysia - No attached toilet - No towels given - Want you to inform them a week ahead of schedule of cancellations - Allot of insects The one standout is its walking distance to the airport

This hostel is a cut about for the simple reasons. Everyone really wants to help and welcome you. The rooms are affordable and clean. The staff are abundant with knowledge about KK and Sabah in general. The bus runs into the town quite regularly so it does not feel like you are too far away. The walk is only about 40 min which is not bad at all. A bonus is that the Air Asia terminal is within walking distance. The friendliness of the staff makes it hard to leave.

The beach house is out of the township and perfect for relaxing away from the hussle and bussle. Gorgeous resturants and the beach are like 2 mins away. We appreciated the genuine staff, who really wanted to help our stay be as wonderful as possible. They look for ways to improve everything all the time, and take a lot of pride in the premisis and their service. The hostel itself is really well set up and has great facilities and more like a big home, than a hostel. We really loved it here!

very nice place. clean no bugs or rodents. nice living rooming in the second building in the back. nice kitchen. rooms are large. location is right next to airport, can walk. no need for cab. can also walk to the beach, where there is a nice cheap night market, lots of great eats and drinks.

The staff are incredibly helpful. They give you a map of the city and show you where to find bus stops, good restaurants and help you book activities. It's just a walk away from the beach, and a great food court on the coast.

It's very near the airport (like 8 minutes of walk) and it only costs 15 RM to take a cab to town. The beach is 5 minutes away and it's quite ok!
