We had a pleasant stay but we feel the rooms and bathroom would need a little renovation. The open social space was great for us. The staff were really helpful. Thank you for the stay.

I had a very bad night there, very hot dorm with just a fan in a room, the bed is not clean and a lot of mosquitoes bothering u. The only advantage of this hostel is location, if u can conquer this, dun stay here, there are a lot of better choice in the city.

i have used the dorm only and for 20 ringgitt, it is good value for money. The location is particularly attractive if arriving or leaving with AIr Asia, because it is only 500 meters from Terminal 2. It is only a 5 minutes walk from the beach where there are many food stalls or smarter restaurants. The drawback is that it is in Tanjung Aru, a 15 minutes drive from downtwn Kota Kinabalu. The staff was helpful. But I think the guestthouse needs maintenance (bathrooms particularly) by the owner.

PRO> Very easy to get to Terminal 2. The Wifi is great in the rooms! Another nice feature here is they give you a towel. Nice staff; one of them even gave me a ride into town so I wouldn't have to walk to the bus. There's also lots of room to hang clothes to dry. CON> The beach nearby looks fantastic but there's a line of raw sewage pouring right into the ocean there so it sure doesn't smell fantastic. The kitchen floor and bathtub are pretty old and dirty, but still tolerable.

a Few minutes walk from the airport and easy to find! Really good location for before/after flight. Staff are really involved and helpful. Nice rooms/bathrooms. Everything is shared, but clean and comfy! It's out of the city, but it's easy enough to travel in if you want! The beach ain't great, but not bad either! They run many trips you could do and we felt it was good value for money!

Not the best but not the worst. Reminded me of an empty college fraternity (maybe we just visited when not many people were touring around the area).

Very convenient location from terminal two and the beach, but needs updating to bring it into the 21st century

This was almost like our second home during our trip. We stayed here for a week, then left, came back for a couple of days and did the same routine a couple of times. The staff are so nice and friendly - almost like your family! We especially loved hanging out with Ricky! Be sure to try the avocado smoothie at the food stalls by the beach at night!
