The breakfast is very very poor. Better to buy own food if you do not want to be hungry. Just bread and hazelnut paste when we were there in April. Wall plugs did not work in all hostel, only at the reception area. The staff knew about it but did not care about it a lot.

Stayed here 3 nights and ended up spending most of my time at SCUBA Junkie, which is foreigner run, so they understand the kind of atmosphere we're looking for. Global Sipidan has Pretty much no common space, just a picnic table in the lobby. The bed hard and the pillows even harder. The air con was loud and started dripping on the bed - they fixed it but didn't change my sheets. The staff was nice, but not particularly engaging. All in all, substandard hostel, even for Malaysia

No good value for money in Semporna compared to other places.

Nice enough place if your staying over in Semporna! Rooms were big and clean - comfy and cheap! Staff spoke little english, but tried! No complains - one of the cheaper places to stay in - so that's real good! Worst town ever - only nice if you do daily trips to the islands!

When we arrived the receptionist didn\'t know about us and told us to go away. It looked like I was the first one who has booked Global Sipadan Backpackers online. The doorm was quite clean with air con which was nice and in the end staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend the hostel.
