I stayed there for 3 nights and the last night (16th & 17th April), we had to sleep without locking the door, as their regulation says that, the .key should be returned before 7 PM for those who are leaving early the next day. When I asked for a receipt after returning the key (on 16th April), the staff didn't gave any receipt rather used some rude words and was totally unpolite. The rooms are too cold inside and the office staff isn't helpful.

Stayed here in March when it was rainy and cold. not a good place to stay at this time. best for summer. excellent atmosphere, quite clean, peaceful a bit expensive because you got to pay even for toilet paper! overall review - best place to stay for summer, get your own toilet paper, towel and sheets.

Okay... This was a bad place to stay for travellers. It is 5€ a day for the heater in the cabin (which you need. 1€ per shower which is poor. 2.50€ for sheets. The kitchen is filthy. We stayed here because it was cheap, it worked out to be more expensive than a hostel in the centre of Amsterdam. Especially paying for transport. All in all totally regret my decision to choose camping bos.

Our experience with the hostel was amazing. We were late reaching the hostel as its outside the city still keys were kept for us and list mentioned out room number.

Hi, we where 8 friends going to Amsterdam, we decided to do this trip and we couldn't find anytthing in the city center, so we when to the Bostel. And its so much cheaper! Also really really cool place to stay, its not that close to the city center, but you cant take the metro and the bus, and you'll get there in 50 minutes or so. I definetly recomend this place. We rent the chalets, and they are perfect, with everything you can need! Even a coffe machine. Just perfect and clean :)

Nice staff and clean rooms. New renovated bathrooms. Just the kitchen place is not very pleasant. We didn t make it to stay there very long during the meals. Too many guys smoking. Dirty and old facilities that we feared to use them. It took us around 1-1,5h to get to the center by tram / metro, quite a long way because the camping site is far south of Amsterdam. But it s a cheap accommodation.

Keep in mind: It's a camping space, a bit far away from the centre! Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay, we booked a 2 bed house & got a 4 bed one, which was great! The heating costs extra, but it's worth it. It wasn't loud at all. There was just one plug socket (?), would be quite little for 4 people! You have to bring your own linen and toilet paper. There are forest tracks all around the buildings, however the bathroom was quite clean. WiFi reception varies. Kitchen ist big but not atmospheric.

Don't be fooled by the cheap prices, anywhere else within the city is well worth the extra money. It takes an hour to the hostel from the central station at least, and the only way back after midnight is the nightbus which costs €5. You have to pay extra for everything here, including showers, sheets, even heating in the cabins and toilet paper. The staff were unfriendly, the WiFi hardly works anywhere, and the toilets are in a separate building from the cabins. I'm never staying again.

The place is not a regular hostel. It's more of a camping site, as a camping site it is one of the nicest, it takes about an hour and a half to get from the camping to the city. You Ned to pay for hot water in the shower one euro and then you can't adjust the water Temperature. There are no sheets on the beds (need to rent additional charge) But it is a nice and beautiful area
