Far out from centre, in a nice wooded area. Public transport runs late, so its easy to get to the city and back. Great atmosphere in our little wood cabin! Staff were not so friendly, but oh well. Would recommend for a chilled one!

The camping was really good but it's really far from the city center, nevertheless it's only a 40 minutes bike ride away. Really easy to get there from the airport

The staffs are not at all friendly. The location is too far from the Amsterdam town. There no toilet papers available and we need to carry this. For bathing we need to pay extra.

Excellent, as usually.

I am very disappointed on the services and the attitudes of the staffs. And it is really far away from Amsterdam centraal. I wont suggest it to you if you are travelling.

A very nice to stay for a couple of nights. The atmosphere was good and it had decent facilities. However, it is considerably far out of town. By taking the metro, it takes around an hour and a quarter to get to the central station. The facilities were good but it could potentially be a five minute walk from your accommodation.

The hostel is great but the only problem is the distance to the city centre. if you're looking for a place to visit Amsterdam, do not choose this place. You have to walk like 30 minutes to the closest metro station, and the plubic transport in the city is really expensive. Besides the distance, it is a good place to stay.

Very far removed from the city and the staff was rude. Wifi is also terrible.

If you are thinking about choosing this hostel/camping STOP! I have never met person so rude and heartless in my life. After whole day of travelling we reached bostel at 8pm because the owner didn’t like my girlfriend he didn’t let us stay there. He is the person who decide if he likes you and you can stay, he is the owner so he has a power to not let you in just because he doesn’t like you. Why he didn’t like her : because she asked about something what was inconvenient for him. Word limit over

Be mindful of leaving expensive things in their cottages, we lost few items during our stay.

I won't stay in this hostel anymore. Worst treatment I ever saw, very rude, give us wrong informations about the city and the manager is stupid. You have to pay for everything including the toilet tissue.

The hostel's area is very nice, it's pretty much the same as a camping with a nice atmosphere. On the other hand, its VERY far from Amsterdam's city centre (about 40min metro or 50min bus). The main reception man isn't really that polite, and don't forget to read properly before reservation the stated extras: +2,5€ for towel (whole stay), +5€ for sheets (whole stay), +1€ for one hot water shower that lasts exactly 6min. +6€ for HEATING (per night) +5% for anything when paying by card

Have to know what you're getting into going in-it is camping. They we charge you for everything from showers to toilet paper. Would have been a much more pleasant experience with better staff

Bus connection was expensive and took a long time. Also the night bus was a long walk to the camping

Had a brilliant stay with some friends here, we stayed in a 4 bed ecolodge which was absolutely fantastic for what we paid (£280 for a whole week!). Staff were friendly and helpful, they were approachable, easy to talk to and had a sense of humour. It is not glamorous by any means but for what you pay for it is above and beyond. My only issue (and it is a very small one) is the distance to the city centre but it is a mere 15 minute walk to to the nearest metro and a 40 min metro from there.

Nice little area but as a whole the camping site was nothing special, just your average European camping sites. Staff was unfriendly and not cooperative at all. They were however very lenient towards partying. Public transport system nearby is great but the walk to the metro is a bit of a bummer
