This is a great place to stay if you just want a place to sleep. We were 3 people in 4 beds. The staff was very friendly and the location is the perfect combo of being close to the center but far enough from late night hooligans. The only downfalls were that the downstairs area where all the rooms are smells like bathroom a lot and the carpet neat the shower was always wet. Breakfast is decent, although it is only from 9-10:30. Overall it's a great deal and you definitely get what you pay for!

The cabin is small, but just enough for the two of us, the staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast is great, by far the best I've ever had in a hostel. Most of all it was a great experience to stay in a boat.

There is no better place in wet Amsterdam, as staying in their boatel, our room was lovely, warm

The 4 of us stayed 4 nights in Botel Zebra around New year's Eve and the house boat was perfectly situated for the festivities. Less than a 10 minutes walk to Central Station. The included breakfast was always amazing. The room was a bit small for 4, but it's a boat after all and we had our own toilet and shower. Highly recommended!

The cabin has this permanent smell of waste water, and there is nothing you can do about it. Get used to it. Everything else is OK. Good breakfast.

The hotel was really easy to find and convenient. The woman who checked us in was excellent and very friendly. Although the room was small obviously because on a boat it worked perfectly for the two nights we were staying there. The beds were really comfortable and we overall enjoyed our stay. The only negative thing is that breakfast started at 9am which was a little late, and the wifi only worked upstairs not in the rooms, and the doors to the upstairs closed pretty early, so wifi was limited.

Though room's are small, good for a weekend and can use the dining area to chill out. Breakfast fine and staff helpful.

The ambience in general is fantastic despite the size of the private room. I would not expect a huge room but it is really tiny. If one asks me if I would stay there again, my answer would be, Yes.

Situated close to the central station, a beautiful location. The staff are friendly and attentive. Security- average, you do have a room with a key, but the doors and locks seemed very flimsy, possibly typical for a botel. Cleanliness -excellent, staff maintain the boat and rooms well. But be forewarned, it is a boat so you have to put toilet paper in bags as it cannot be flushed. Atmosphere-poor, little interaction past breakfast. Wifi is spotty, lobby only. Good value and includes breakfast.
