The ambience in general is fantastic despite the size of the private room. I would not expect a huge room but it is really tiny. If one asks me if I would stay there again, my answer would be, Yes.
Situated close to the central station, a beautiful location. The staff are friendly and attentive. Security- average, you do have a room with a key, but the doors and locks seemed very flimsy, possibly typical for a botel. Cleanliness -excellent, staff maintain the boat and rooms well. But be forewarned, it is a boat so you have to put toilet paper in bags as it cannot be flushed. Atmosphere-poor, little interaction past breakfast. Wifi is spotty, lobby only. Good value and includes breakfast.
thanks very beautiful place and excellent experience
We loved Botel Zebra.

great place to stay for a few days. excellent location, very good breakfast included in price and available internet. room was a bit smaller than on the other botels in the area, but overall experience was very good.
the location is very good, the rooms very small and to hot for sleeping, when it is hot outside. the carpet on the floor was weet in front of the toiletdoor when we arrive and didnt dry for the 4 days, we was there. It was our feeling, that the woman working there is tired of her work.
Affordable for Amsterdam, my roommate and I woke up covered in bites one night however. So watch up for the bugs.
The hostel is well located (a few minutes walk from Central Station). The place is clean and organized. Stayed in a double room with bathroom. The room was quite small but met our needs. I was too scared to get sick, but do not rock the boat!
The weather was so warm that was uncomfortable to sleep without air conditioned...
Rooms/Cabins were as expected in size and facilities - remember it is a boat. Unfortunately it was quite warm during our trip and very little ventilation through port holes........Breakfast was fantastic and staff were very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to city and bike hire. Other visitors on the boat during our stay kept to themselves - boat deck was a lovely place to sit and have a few drinks in the evening.

The lady running the botel was great, breakfast was also very good. Very unique experience.
Very satisfied with the facilities and rooms-we had our own shower and bathroom which was nice. Great location near the train station. The only complaint was about the manager. She was friendly enough, but she made it very clear that this was her space. Hanging out in the saloon felt like intruding-- won't allow "loud" convo or your own calls. Wifi is limited to this space and she locks the door at 11 and doesn't open it until 9am. She also acted like leaving your bags was an inconvenience.
It was a very clean and nice place, and the breakfest buffet was great! My only real complaint is that the showers were'nt the best and that the toilets required a couple of extrra flushes and sometimes "manual" persuasion.
Had a really nice stay! Chambers are small but sufficient, moreover they are clean and proper. Breakfast was also good (and not too early :) ) and the team is very kind. The city is in walking distance and so is the main station. Still, in the nights it's very quiet and through the sound of the water it's kind of idyllic ;) I would absolutely recommend this!
Remember, this is a boat, so yes the room is small, but it wasn't an issue for me or my boyfriend who is around 6 ft. The night was always quiet and comfortable with the port Windows open. The bathroom was always fresh and clean. One con is it seems like the owner essentially lives on the boat, so the TV area didn't really seem like it was for the guests, but for her own personal use. Kind of awkward. But the outdoors deck area was nice. Breakfast was basic and got the job done. Good value for $
Great location, tiny room, but fine for two people, great shower, smells a little musty, not sure what can be done about that
First time in botel. Quite small and stairways could be dangerous if you are not careful. However, the location is superb and the lady owner and her service were also very nice. I would recommend the place especially if you are traveling with a friend (bunk beds).
If you just want a bed to sleep ZEBRA is not a bad option. The room was extremely small (two people could not stand at the same time in it) and quite dirty. It would not have been a bad choice if it was 20-30euros cheaper but I don't think that its price is indicative of its overall quality. However, the staff was really friendly and breakfast was quite nice.
Great houseboat experience!! The rooms and bathrooms were on the smaller side and it smelled like a boat, but we really wanted to stay on a houseboat. So if that's what you're looking for, then you will definitely love it. Everything was clean, free wifi, great free breakfast, friendly and helpful staff! Location not far from central station and has a great patio to hang out on. Met a few other ppl on the boat and hanging out on other boats nearby.
You can't fault this accomodation. The staff are so welcoming, attend to any worries including if you have forgotten your wash bag, and do an excellent job of making you feel at home. Thank you for letting me leave my bike box with you during our last day after we had checked out! The location captures the most beautiful sunset over Amsterdam. The accommodation is just as described, it is a botel, clues in the title, you are on a boat! Myself and my partner very much hope to book in agan
