Very friendly staff on board! i stayed in another "botel" a few years ago and the cabins on Botel Zebra are definetly bigger. For me the best thin about the boat is the price for this location. Central station is only a 5 minute walk away (or 1 minute if you are lazy and take the bus) but it's not crowded or loud at the boat. We're definetly coming back again!

What a lovely staff! I felt welcomed the minute I stepped in. Very friendly and caring! It's a kind of family-feeling there. Everything got cleaned each day and the breakfast in the morning was made with love. All in all a perfect stay!

The hostel is on a boat. Although the room is quite small, it is a very special experience. Wifi in the room is not available.

We met Ching she was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in botel zebra amsterdam.it was a short distance from main attractions. It was compact and basic, nice hot shower. Suitable if you only need somewhere to sleep and sightsee all day evening. I would recommend botel zebra.

the breakfast is not bad and the botel is situated not far from the central train station, within walking distance

We really enjoyed our stay at botel zebra. It is about a 10 minute walk from central station and offers a lovely atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was 10x better than any that I've had in a hostel- good bread and jams, meat varieties, cheese, museli, coffee and tea and fresh fruit. The rooms are quaint, but practical. The showers were hot. The boat deck was also open for all guests and it offers a great view of amsterdam.

The hostel isn't in the best location, since it's about a 20 minute all from the center of the city. We never got clean towels, even though I believe we were promised them.

We loved the hostel, and although small, the room was cosy and precisely fit our needs. We had a nice surprise when breakfast was offered without extra charge. Would personally make it more obvious you pay upon arrival rather than pre-arrival (however this was my own fault!). Would recommend to all.

We really enjoyed stay at this hostel. It is a interessant way to spend your time at Amsterdam. The breakfast is great. Staff gave us good informations about services around city. But the wifi network doesn't work at rooms. You can use only on main hall.

We were really excited about staying on a boat in Amsterdam and we were not disappointed! In a fantastic location, just a 15 minute walk away from the centre of town and a 10 minute walk from the station. Our room was very cosy and felt like a home away from home! The staff were brilliant and we would like to especially mention Ching, who prided herself in everything she did! She was extremely welcoming and her breakfast was fantastic. She made us feel very comfortable and we will be returning!!

This is a great place to stay if you just want a place to sleep. We were 3 people in 4 beds. The staff was very friendly and the location is the perfect combo of being close to the center but far enough from late night hooligans. The only downfalls were that the downstairs area where all the rooms are smells like bathroom a lot and the carpet neat the shower was always wet. Breakfast is decent, although it is only from 9-10:30. Overall it's a great deal and you definitely get what you pay for!

The cabin is small, but just enough for the two of us, the staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast is great, by far the best I've ever had in a hostel. Most of all it was a great experience to stay in a boat.

The 4 of us stayed 4 nights in Botel Zebra around New year's Eve and the house boat was perfectly situated for the festivities. Less than a 10 minutes walk to Central Station. The included breakfast was always amazing. The room was a bit small for 4, but it's a boat after all and we had our own toilet and shower. Highly recommended!
