Friendly and family atmosphere, sleeping on a boat is a great experience visiting Amsterdam. Buffet breakfest with several types of bread and cereals, cheese, ham,... value for a 3 star Hotel. The staff was at your service to give you all you need.

We loved the Botel Zebra. Charming and ideally located with extremely friendly helpful staff. We strongly urge anyone staying here to try the restaurant at the top of the library for amazing food and an amazing view.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights mid April. This was our second time to Amsterdam and was more of a stop over than a holiday. The price was great and the novelty of the boat was fun. We enjoyed our stay however for first timers to Amsterdam I would recommend somewhere else as it is about a 10- 15 min walk out of the action. Breakfast included was a bonus. And staff were very friendly and approachable. Would be great over the summer time.

We enjoy our stay very much and had an excellent stay by Mary Ann and her lovely staff, Jin. They were very kindly and very helpfully and both had done much more than you can expect :-). We recommend Botel Zebra.

Disappointed at the sign in the shower, instructing us to throw plug-hole hair out the window of the boat. It's pollution. Was uncomfortable not having access to the dining/lounge space in the evenings and having no facilities to make tea with etc. Staff were friendly when we arrived and checked in.

Poor security: Access to the boat was completely open, and our room's door could only be locked through a quite unsophisticated lock. Luckily, nothing happened. The room was well cleaned, but smelled quite moldy, especially in the lower bunk.

I´ve already sent a mail to Zebra, because in my cabin, nr 11, I found two bedbugs. Only two and no one of them harmed me. But perhaps they where founding a family just that weekend I spent onboard. I´m used to stay in bed&breakfast hostels, so I know that bedbugs are common. A result from our modern way of travelling. I hope that, no one ever puts any personal stuff under a hotelbed! But still I will recommend botel Zebra!

It was ok. it is great if you only use the room for sleeping. other than that you cant even sit on the bed. Since it is a bunk bed it is really low. However, very good breakfast they serve on the boat I have to say.

We loved our stay in Botel Zebra. The people there was very friendly, always ready to help and ensure our stay was a good one. Good breakfast, small bedrooms, but perfect if you just want to sleep (comfortable bunk beds). Quiet place, very close to Central Station and the centre.
