Great place to stay, Bothy Hostel was very enjoyable. Unlike many hostals in Peru, Social area to meet people. Hot water in the shower. Clean bathroom. Clean kitchen and interesting games to play. no city noise. Common room with hot and free tea or cofee and cable tv. If you want to coming to Puno I recomend you to come this hostel. The only good thing about this place was the staff, they were very friendly however EXTREMELY understaffed. I had to wake up at 6 to let guests in because the staff were upstairs making breakfast. The breakfast is nice, a pancake with juice and bread, better than most places. Also, the girl at reception asked me to stay at the hostel once because she had to leave, and she wasn't back when she said she was going to. I had to get to the embassy and had to wait around for her, notmy responsibil

Very nice place, easy to meet other travellers, helpful staff. comfy beds, Great collection of movies and games and nice courtyard to relax with. I would definitely visit again!!!

Dirty no atmosphere and if you leave stuff in the lockers they lock reception and it's impossible to wake up the night shift guy

This is a great place to stay in Puno, but the only downside is the showers are not hot (or not always). Otherwise, staff is very friendly and helpful, it´s clean and warm. Decent place to stay.

It's only a five minute walk from the main street and about a fifteen minute walk to the lake. Small and quaint, very basic, but the staff was wonderful. Loved the breakfast bread!

All was Great and Perfect...!!! I enjoyed the Hostel, Hot water in the shower. Clean bathroom. Clean kitchen, it's very close to the main square. If you come to Puno I recommend you Bothy Hostel.

A great hostel with space to relax, wonderful facilities - decent showers, speed WIFI, comfy beds, fireplace, recent movies with TV, footbol table. Very clean and secure. Staff are very friendly. this Hotel is Cheap stay and awesome experience. :)

This hostel was freezin cold and I was there in April. This is an open door hostel means that the shower are outside and to go to the kitchen you have to pass by outside terrace. When it is rainning it is slippering and there is water everywhere. About the shower again only 3 o 4 strings of hot water unable to warm you. Impossible to wash your hair without catch a cold. Yoo bad because the only staff person is really nice. Breakfast is ok there is pancake but without jam or sirop to put on top!!

We were dropped off in some dark street and had to ring and wait outside a poorly marked door. Inside the hostel, it was cold and wet without heating or sufficient blankets. Upstairs toilet was not working and the lineup at the other available toilets was painfully long in the morning. Overall an unpleasant experience. Only positive : Staff spoke English and was kind. We do not recommend this hostel.

disappointed at this place. we arrived after a long day and all i wanted was a hot shower and some sleep. we were told on arrival there were hot showers, but upstairs bathrooms were out of order which left 2 bathrooms downstairs for the whole hostel to use. each bathroom contained a shower and toilet which meant if someone was in shower you couldn´t use toilet and vice versa. needless to say it was very inconvienient and also there was no hot water! no shower and couldnt wait to leave!

We had a FANTASTIC STAY! all was excelent. The hostel has all the facilites you need. Hot water in the shower. Clean bathroom. Clean kitchen and the staff is very kind and extremly helpful. Would recommend this hostel to everybody!. Because this hostel is Cheap to stay.
