Stayed for 6 nights. Staff and other guests (volunteers) made my stay memorable. A place to really meet other fellow travelers. Weak WIFI in room (302 on top floor). Better connection in communal area. Supermarket down from guesthouse. 15mins walk to Pub Street. Be ware they use solar to heat water tanks, so can't guarantee hot shower every time. Recommend their fried rice. Always wear insect repellent, esp in communal areas.
I felt i was home during our entire stay in BouSavy. Sir Bovorn and the reat of his staff were all fantastic. Awesome treatment. Good food. Value for money. They also helped us in getting a good deal for our Temple tour. We were put in a big room which was is very nice. I would highly recommend everyone to stay here and experience how it is to be welcomed by this good Khmer family. Thank you big time BouSavy.

Great place. But the wifi didn't work in our room.
We just want them to improve their landscape, like putting some flowering plants coz it adds to the beauty of the surroundings. Internet connection at their cafe is very slow but WIFI is really fast. I think they only need to update their internet connection or their computers are just out of date. Other than that, everything is excellent :-)

Staff was very helpfull and nice. It is 10 minutes walking from the center and far enough from the noises tuktuk,it is an Oasis in the middle of the town.
I've mixed feelings about this hotel. It's a pretty place in a quiet area and our room was nice, large & clean. The bathroom needed some work, though (the sink got stuck all the time!) and despite the general cleaness we were invaded by tiny spiders at night which left us with lots of bites! They did use some insect repellant (didn't work!) and offered us to change room but I suspect the spider problem was in other rooms, too.Hotel owner is very kind & professional, the other staff is often confused
I chose Bou Savy Guest House based on the praise it has received in other reviews and I wasn't disappointed. My stat there was very pleasant - the room was spacious and clean with a nice bathroom, the free breakfast is excellent and the staff are very friendly. I found Cinna (Sinha?) the in-house tuk tuk driver very reliable and honest. I have nothing but praise for the hotel. Keep up the good work!
Bou Savy has a great atmosphere, with a kind and helpful staff, and cheap prices for great food. I hardly ate anywhere else. The tour they arranged for Ankor Wat was amazing. However, I booked a bus from Siem Reap to Bangkok through Bou Savy Guesthouse, and they used Amazing Angkor Travel and Tour. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are rude, inadequate, drop you off at their friend's restaurant that charges to use the bathroom, and made me wait 3 hours at the border to get on another bus.
Just perfect, the guys working there were very welcoming and helpful. Rally cheap. they have a tuktuk to do a tour day at the temples for just USD 12 all the day.
Best stay so far. Really not a hostel but a great local owned guesthouse. Super friendly staff, excellent service, delicious food, big rooms with TV. We got a well priced Tuk Tuk driver for two days to bring us to the Angkor temples, banana shakes and refreshing towels when we checked in. Definitely would stay there again.
Trying to think of something negative to say about this place but i got nothing, except that they use hangers to dry their their laundry. other than that, people were great, helpful, clean place, alright location. keep up the great work, doing it all right.
Nice guesthouse, big rooms, clean and well priced. Welcoming and useful staff with arranging local tours, onward travel and tuk tuks. It's a 15min walk to the centre of town but close to shops, supermarkets etc would recommend staying here.
