The name might be misleading "Hostel", this is an very nice private 4 star hotel, which is very close to the Außenalster in a very nice neighborhood. Parking is free in front of the hotel, direct and frequent bus connection to the center.

We thought we would get the kind of room we saw presented at the site of hostelworld.com. We chose the hostel because of the pictures of the hotel as a whole: the entrance, the terracy, the stairs, the breakfast: small and beatiful. On the site of the Hotel Boulevard itself we saw other rooms, which were more expensive. How surprised we were, to get such a room, really romantic, with original furniture...! The breakfast buffet was delicious and well organized. Opposite of a bus, good service!!

This is a hotel, not a hostel. But staff was very nice.

Very nice, quiet and clean hotel - charmingly kitchy decorated. Ever so friendly staff. Maybe too much furniture in the not very spacious rooms. Breakfast at 7 € with a huge variety of fresh bread and standard products - not fond of german coffee though. Stylish and peaceful neighbourhood with good restaurants and cafés - a bit away from the city centre, but bus no. 6 left every ten minutes, or why not take a nice half hour walk along the Alster Lake right down to Kunsthalle?
