Boutiquito was an amazing Boutique Hostel in one of themost beautiful areas of Quito. Only a $2-3 cab ride to centrol Historico (old town). Cristina was amazing. Every hostel in South America should have someone like her there. Her English was perfect and she not only knew Quito extreamly well but she was very knowledgeable about Ecuador in general. Loved this place and I will definitly be back!
Great hostel! Comfortable, clean, spacious, friendly staff, good wi fi and great sleep quality... Plus design! The only small downside for me was location...although not bad...its not the best...though it is in a nice, safe area. They don't do laundry and the laundry place is a fair walk away. Iv'e stayed in a few hostals in quito and this is definately my favourite that I will go back too.
Amazing hostal, the most vintagely cozy one I've seen so far. The staff was super helpful when I was drowning in visa problems, the beds were super cozy, the decoration is beautiful... It's definitely a place that will make you feel at ease and recharge your good energies. Only one recommendation, these little lights by the beds are a little too shiny at night!

Brand-new, but already with a great atmosphere. Rooms are really good: spacious, good lockers, reading lights chargers, and the dorms have large ensuite bathrooms (2 toilets, 2 showers). The public area is very inviting with a fireplace, comfy couches and fast wi-fi. The TV room is separate, which is also great if you don't want to watch TV :-) Their slogan is 'you will be back'. We already did.
One of the best hostels i've ever been to...

nice place with a great view and lots of cosy places to hang out. 2 showers
Had an amazing stay. Comfortable and very relaxing. Great place to recharge. Beds are all brand new and staff is very helpful.
The beds! You will sleep very nice here under a warm duvet, as nights in Quito can be a bit nippy. Also the showers are always hot because they have a huge water heater, the most advanced I've seen in Ecuador. My very favourite thing is the WIFI. You can stream HD videos, upload your photos, and get a lot done on the net. Enjoy!
Amazing hostel!!! One of the few times I put Excellent for everything.
A hidden pearl in a perfect location. Great views of the Guapulo valley from the beautiful and artistically designed living with huge couch for relaxing. Also the Mariscal area is within easy walking distance. Staff is super helpful and if they like you there's even a possibility to a courtesy homemade cheesecake (or was that a coincidence? ;)). Really the very best place to stay in Quito if you don't want the tourist bubble of Mariscal!
