Super-friendly & helpful staff. Ensuite 4-bed room is smallish, but very comfortable & clean. No breakfast included-- however, plenty of stores (Tesco, Morrisons, etc.) & restaurants less than 5-10" walk away. Kitchen/commons area small but fairly equipped (no microwave; oven works great). Short & convenient ride to/from airport; easily walkable to Waverly Station/City Centre buses/trams. WiFi can be spotty, but is better early morning/late night. Laid-back atmosphere. Would stay again.

Good for the price. Very small rooms, kitchen and social area. Great location.

Only one shower worked amongst 3. Friendly chilled out staff. Excellent location.

- No enougth space to cook/sit eat in had to stand up in common area. - No pillow or blanket was provided, apparently it was our fault someone must have stolen them and issue was never solved. - Staff rude and had no idea what they were doing, unfriedly and unhelpful - Very unorganised a guy arrived later than us who had no bed or anything and no one could help it was up to the people who were long time staying to try and sort him out.

Boutique backpackers is ok to just spend the night and go out the rest of the day, preferably showering somewhere else as the facilities arent exactely brilliant. The kitchen would need way more cutlery and a bigger and cosier dining area.

No cleaner for >two weeks prior to arrival (told by room mate), so the carpet was filthy. The bathroom had mold everywhere, including on the glass panels inside the shower, water didn't drain, big brown stains on toilet, sink dirty, floor sticky, just awful. Felt dirtier after showering in there, and I'm no clean freak. Bed sheets dirty (brown crust). BEDBUGS: Was bitten 4 times, two of the rooms have not been fumigated (including ours). Whole building smells, tiny kitchen/lounge area. DONT GO!

Not a huge fan of this hostel. The bathroom was falling apart (broken tiles, etc.) and the room I stayed in was pretty noisy (and dirty, although, this was more likely linked to other guests). Fair enough, the security lock at the entrance door is clearly a bonus, but I've got to admit that I'd prefer a 24-hour reception (especially when checking in early/late). The staff was nice, but pointed the bus stop in the wrong direction...
