I and my family stayed in a basement ensuite. It was clean, nice and spacious. The location is very good, a very nice walk to the centre, close to the bus and not far from Coles supermarket, and the area is very quiet. There is free parking across the road. The room had slightly mouldy air, but nothing to be concerned of, and was immaculately clean. The atmosphere was cosy and friendly. Be advised that children will attract a $10 extra charge.

Very nice and clean hostel. Only the check in and organisation was very poor. We arrived at 1 am in the middle in the night and couldn't check in, because reception was closed. Although I was promised there's a 24hr check in. There was only a note on the door which told us which room we are in, but the door was lockes, so we couldn't get in. Not ideal at 1 am. They also took money from our credit card, although we were told we can pay in cash at arrival. A lot of hassle.

A very cozy place that looks much like an old house. Inside it looks refurbished, with nice furniture and a family-friendly enviroment. The kitchen is big and well equipped. A few negatives are no free WiFi, no aircondition (a must for hot and humid days), and the reception is closed most of the time. Reccomended for families.

Fantastic place! 15/20 min walk from the centre of town. The hostel is amazing, so refreshing after many months spent as Base and YHA. Swimming pool, full kitchen, lounge (a real one) and really friendly people. The building is really old meaning the rooms are big!Theres a Peter Pan on the way into town so bother paying for internet.
