Wonderful place. Well away from the Khao San Road area close to transport links for BTS buses & airport express trains. The pods are possibly the comfiest bed I have has in SE Asia. Very clean. Showers worthy of a hotel. Huge lockers, swipe card entry into main are of hostel & dorms. Good breakfast choices. Only issue I would say is that security could be too good - if you forget your key when you go to the toilet you get locked out. And the pods did make it difficult to socialise.
I liked this hostel a lot, it was all very clean and the breakfast is really good. there are some options. The room are pretty clean and the bathrooms are always clean too . there is a lady making sure is always clean.
Lovely hostel you get to have your own little box with plugs lights and a curtain for privacy. Breakfast is included and really nice! Location is a bit far from town but only a short ride away in a tuk-tuk. Staff could be more helpful on what to do and get around the city.
It's a dormitory room, but like a private hotel in the 'box' bed. very cozy, kind reception desk, nice breakfast, and everyting good. but the atmosphere was very calm not like other hostels in bangkok I think, rather quiet and careful atmosphere that making friends seems not easy, and the location was not bad, near two subway stations, one is directly to airport, but some distance to walk is needed.
The hostel is really clean. The 'boxes' you sleep in are really private. That is nice, but it also prevents you from meeting people while backpacking. The common area is really nice, which is one of the reasons I booked here, but nobody is actually using it. The rooms are clean, showers are warm. The food is really good, but expensive. Think about European prices. Overall, I had a really good stay.
Nice and great idea, breakfast included as well, not a bad location depending what you are looking for. Close to a mall and shopping
I had a wonderful stay at boxpackers. I love the "box beds". Keeps light and noise out and allows you privacy. Very nice hostel!
Locational wise is not great down a bit of a dark alley, so coming home by your self late at night does not feel the safest thing to do. But the hostel is easily one of the best hostels I've stayed in facility wise.
Stay here!! In terms of cleanliness, design and privacy it's the best hostel I've stayed in - virtually your own mini private room for dorm bed prices, more a comfortable capsule hotel than a hostel. Inclusive breakfast great, staff lovely. A proper bar would add to the atmosphere, but hey, you can't have everything.
Great hostel close to the main train station which coming from the airport and 20h flight is great. great staff, good breakfast, metro stop nearby, hostel brand new, great common area. better than many European hostels. ah, almost forgetting, amazingly comfy beds in air conditioned room
Nice concept of having your own little box!

One of the best hostels ever and a good breakfast included. Excellent value for money, especially considering that the privacy in your own capsule is almost like in a hotel room.
This place is pretty hip. Bunkbeds are little box units that sit on top of each other like cubbys. Its also super easy to find, which is helpful when you arrive late. It's off the Siam sky train line that connects to airport line and the subway. There's also a really cool loft common area where you can store goceries and do your laundry. The deposit is pricey but you get it back as long a you return your fancy card key. Also there's a huge locker under each bed that you get keys to.
