Please get rid of the cockroaches in the dorm, crawling at night all over the walls, our stuff, and ourselves. Fix the showers and faucets. I believe that for sanitary reasons a wc should be provided with soap on the nearest washbasin; no soap available to wash hands in the hostel bathrooms.

The main issue was cleanliness. Cockroaches, bedbugs and cleaners that did the barest minimum (they say your room and shower are cleaned once a day but that was definitely not the case in the dorm I stayed in). But value for money wise it wasn't that bad, great common area and large kitchen, plus really friendly helpful staff (cleaners excluded!)

BED BUGS, COCKROACHES, RATS. You'll have to deal with them. Everything that can be broken IS broken (toilets, windows, taps, showers, beds...). The daily cleaning is a joke. Sometimes there's just no breakfast (I know it's free, but I wouldn't have chosen that hostel if it hadn't been for the free breakfast, so I might as well expect to get it). The kitchen and common room are almost rediculously dirty. But hey, you really do pay next to nothing.

I thought it was a great hostel in a great location, being two minutes away from kings cross underground is amazingly useful. The only quam I have with the hostel is there were loads of drugs bad alcohol going on right by the hostel steps going on till the early hours, it was really annoying and hard to sleep. But great staff, really useful and friendly, hostel has a really homey vibe, great place, loved it!!!

Common area smells like.. "bad word"..the smell never goes away... u feel like vomiting when you have your meals there. Oh, and you also have good company when you eat, or sleep, or do nothing >>> BUGS everywhere, everywhere, and everywhere ! So you don't stay in the small common area and then u don't know where to go. Breakfast is ridiculous and not free, you have to pay a deposit to get kitchen stuff.. just leave it in the kitchen !! ..anyway.. staff was fine and nice, and people too.

Very friendly staff and guests (including long-stayers). Although more bugs than your average hostel.

A wild, quirky hostel. Forrest and Nev have developed a real friendly place. But you need to like lots of loud folk enjoying themselves - which after all is what travelling is about!

The staff really helped me explore the city. They were friendly and made sure I enjoyed myself. Not the cleanest place but it is quite tolerable and the location is excelent. I was in walking distance of the major cites and the central bus station.

Didn't like this hostel at all, wanted to leave as soon as I saw the room. Dirty, smelly in the room, The lobby isn't cozy at all and The bathroom, actually,The whole building could use a renovation. Stad however is really friendly. It's a shame a location like this isn't used like it could be.

Great hostel. Loved the free breakfast, free tea/coffee and free wifi - although it was slow at times. Forrest is lovely and very knowledgeable. The kitchen was always clean because you have to leave a deposit to use kitchen items, so people always cleaned up after themselves.

It was ok, but little bit dirty. We were three girls in the room and one guy we didn't know who stayed there already longer. We had a shower and a toilet on the balcony( it was possible to use another one). One night this guy brought a couple in our room( we were already sleepng). They just came in and started using the Shower on the balcony. We were upset. Roommate just laughed. Than another boy came. This was too much!Called "security" who found this situation funny as well, the couple left.

The hotel was really friendly. Lots of young, vibrant travelers there. Centrally located, easily accessible. Really friendly and warm people at the reception, appreciated that. Lots of party-goers and night-crawlers, my kind of scene. Although my only problem was the cleanliness, I understand that they employ people to clean the rooms daily, which is good and regular. Still, there's room for improvement. Need soap in the toilets, for instance.

Very nice staff but very dirty bathrooms. The people in the street could see us taking a shower in the bathroom nothing to hide. The cleanning lasted 5 minutes per room everyday no cleaning of the shower. The floor of the room was very very dirty. Room very noisy Internet was good no limits

The dorm room was soaking wet when we arrived and the room was very messy. The ensuite bathroom had only a slightly frosted glass pane door so you could see everything that someone was doing in there. We found a double room for the next night as that was what we had originally wanted and they would not offer us any kind of refund. We paid for both places rather than stay there one more night! Also very hot in the dorms.
