Stayed for 4 nights and atmosphere was lively, if you like to mix it up and party this is a good spot, clean kitchen to cook in which is nice and a good common room to meet others. If you are looking for a quiet night in it may be hard to come by but for fun nights out this is a good spot. Discount at local bars for guests which is a bonus. Corridors comfortable enough to sleep in too.

Had such a good time at this hostel, i went away for a few days and i was planning on leaving to go to Brisbane after my trip, but because i loved it so much and i missed the people i had met, i came back! If you want a hostel with everything on your doorstep, bars, clubs, train station, supermarket and many places to eat then i would come to Brado's, not only for those reasons but because it has such a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Forrest is the owner and will help you with anything you need!

The staff is friendly and the kitchen is mostly clean. Its in a great location and if you are looking for some party with other backpackers, you're right at Brado's. The only negative thing is that there is kind of a bug problem in the hostel.

Obviously the hostel is a old and can do with a lick of paint and maintainance but it's in a great location and really good value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

Brados is a brilliant located Hostel in the middle of Kings Cross. The lovely staff is open for every question and really friendly. The great prices are totally appropriate. Nice people and a nice atmosphere as well as a tv room and party offers for every night in the week make it a great hostel to stay in Sydney!

Had an amazing time here at Brado's, great people and atmosphere and can't wait to return some time! Would recommend to anyone as within walking distance of the centre and its main sights, near shops, bars, clubs and train station. Staff are very friendly, helpful and always want to make sure you have an amazing stay with them.

I have mixed opinions about this hostel. In one way it was ok, but never good. Many things can be done A LOT BETTER! It feels like you have to leave a deposit for everything! For cutlery, for kitchen stuff, for keys etc APPARENTLY YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRINK ON FRIDAYS IN THE HOSTEL???? WHAT THE F*CK!!?? Seriously one bad attitude to maintain no drinking and stealing all alcohol left out in the open by the 'night-guard'. Super bad that the 'nightguard' that steals goes out and party in club.

The location of the hostel is good, but it was the dirtiest and shabbiest place we stayed on our whole journey. The dorm room was not clean at all, neither was the bathroom or the kitchen. There also seems to be a bed bug problem in this hostel, people in other rooms complained about them and several dead bed bugs and other insects were on one of the other unused beds in our room. The reception was closed in the evening so we could'nt even ask for a nicer room. Staff in generall was friendly.

Bedbugs and lots of cockroaches.. Leaking washing machine that the staff didn't bother doing anything about. Dirty kitchen and a lack of cooking utensils. Located in the red light district - lots of "different" people outside the hostel. I would definitely try to go somewhere else if possible.

This place is amazing thanks to Forrest at the front desk! He works really hard to help you with everything you need and make your stay great! And fun! The hostel needs a bit work but they are working on it and happy to take suggestions. You get free breakfast and the location is really close to the kings cross station. We would stay there again, felt like home!

The hostel was infested with bed bugs (and other bugs as well) all of our travel bags are infested now. the cleanliness was well below what it should have been (based on the cleaning staff?) . Watching the way the 'staff' cleaned was a joke - for example when sweeping and mopping the center of the room was the only place that got cleaned, under the beds left untouched. The "Big Clean" thursday was no different from the other days. The bathroom got a good clean on one of the days. Staff-FAB!

Brilliant Hostel! Clean, tidy, cheapest i found and right in the heart for Kings Cross. Less then a minute from the train station, 20 minutes walk to the Opera house. The owners were amazing and helped us plan our entire stay. You get clean sheets, cooking equipment, free breakfast, cheap Internet use and a t.v room. We booked the fist 2 nights there and ended up stay the whole week! You can leave your things in your room without worrying. Don't look anywhere else! I'd defiantly recommend

staff at this hostel is friendly and helpful, specially forest! but the hostel is dirty, kitchen and tv room are nice but small and rooms are quite old-fashioned. no elevator either and saw also few cockroaches running in the corridors. Good place to stay for few nights if you just wanna drink goon with other backpackers and party at kings cross if no don't stay here.

Rooms and free breakfast were decent, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Hostel looked a bit "worn down".
