The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the location was quiet and easy to travel back to after a long day of walking. Would recommend this place to anyone.

The hostel has a very good tube connection. Edgware Road and Marylebone are very close.

Convenient for the location and decent value for your money. Lockers are rather small but you do have a luggage room to store large items. The bathrooms could use a good cleaning but weren't as bad as other reviews made them out to be (at least during my stay). Triple bunks is a bit of an oddity.

Such a nice hostel located above a pub - not the worst place to be. :) The staff were incredibly nice and hospitable, e.g. they brought me to my room rather than just instructing me how to get there, as we arrived the room they went back to get me the Wi-Fi password, etc. It's all those little things that make the difference, I guess. It also didn't seem too big, giving it a somewhat cosy atmosphere.

A great location, but not very clean. It could be very loud, but you get what you pay for.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with them, I had my booking confirmed and the deposit paid, but once there a manager's friend asked him for a bed so he gave him one and told me there was no bed for me , I tried to explain but he insisted he could do nothing for me and that was my problem; so I had to look for another hostel in another area, and lostmy deposit and the transport money, it is really a shame and a black label for hostel world. I do not trust them anymore.

Great location just opposite King Solomon School. The entry door @ night took a few attempts to get in. Felt brave so slept on the bottom of triple bunk! Mattress was poor, the duvet & pillows were dirty, sheets were good. I stayed in an ensuite room but didn't use as the other guests would have heard by IBS. Used the communiual toilet area which was clean however no bog roll in either toilet. The toilet with the working light had broken lock :( Easy fix items please correct. Breakfast was OK

Good things: Underground is near, has a bar with people and not bad prizes, they keep the lugagge after check-out if you want to do tourism, is relatively cheap, restaurant with cheap pizzas at near avenue. Bad things: the room was a bit dusty, bathrooms could be more clean, there wasnt toilet tissue when we arrived, if you arrive after midnight you have to pay 10 pounds. The bed bunks staggered and made noise if you move a bit and mattress werent comfortable at all. Breakfast a bit limited.

There was no lock to get from the bar to inside (so people could go upstairs in the shower, etc.), but there were keycards for the rooms themselves. Staff was great, location was a bit hard to find because there is a Lisson Grove and a Lisson Street, but the place was clean and nice.

Located above a pub, which is not very attractive for backpackers due to all the old geezers who are regulars and you can hear it upstairs (bring earplugs and you'll be fine). The staff are very nice and helpful. The shower/bathroom was teaming with its own colony of microbial life. The atmosphere in the room was ok until a random smelly old drunk in long johns joined. The common room is a cold prison cellar, the kitchen a forkless wasteland of dirty dishes with a half working cooker.

I didn't like my 3 days in Brazen Backpackers.. The staff was friendly, but rooms and toilets weren't very clean and stinked.. Report quality price can be really better..

Pictures do not necessarily reflect the rooms. Late arrival (after midnight) costs you £10!!! Cleanness of the bathroom wasn't inviting.

It's a very nice place, clean enough, very well located, and with very nice people. With a typical english pub downstairs where you can have some beers before going out!

The staff were friendly but the breakfast was poor and the bathroom was not cleaned in four days. The rooms were warm though and just a few minutes walk to marble arch. The tv room shouldn't be called a tv room since it was very small, no sofas and just two tables with uncomfortable chairs.

Well - you'll get what's worth for the money. It was OK - rooms are large, breakfast traditional, location good and quiet. Sometimes it could get noisy in hostel (because of plasterboard walls and walking guests), but not much. I was really disappointed by cleaning of bathroom - showers were dirty (a lot of hairs in it) and nobody cleaned it in two days... But there were soap and always toilet paper. Kindly staff and good atmosphere.

Despite the mouse in the bathroom everything was ok. And the old gentlemen that are going daily to the bar are really interesting thing.
