Rough as hell The pub is dead rough, the first patrons i encountered had “love / hate” tattooed on his knuckles and the other a full head tattoo. I was in Birmingham for a Black Sabbath concert but even I thought the pub was a dive. Having a glimpse of the kitchen I would not have my dog eat in there. Strangely the room was ok. But the coffee mugs were not cleaned, the spoon had food on it and there was no soap in bathroom. I asked how to get in after hours and was told, “double green garage d

The b&b was situated in a very restless part of the Birmingham suburbs and it was disturbing and quite scary going outside in the evening. Also the pub downstairs was extremely loud until around 4 am, and we found it hard to sleep because of the music and noise. After seeing the grounds the room itself was a positive surprise being clean and having a recently renovated toilet. Would not stay there again to be honest.

Although the room was mostly clean the carpet was grotty, curtains falling off rails, cabinets broken, light bulbs missing, stains (red wine ?) on wall, locks to room broken ( my daughter had great difficulty locking her room door from the inside). Bathroom was basic but clean, bedding and beds OK.

Amazing place!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the room was fine for what I required.

The rooms were spacious, clean and excellent value. The staff were very helpful, lovely breakfast and it was handy for the city. No parking but found space just round the corner.
