big pros: fantastic facilities. top staff. great for meeting people. easy to party. small cons: bit of a party hostel! no noise after midnight rule not fully respected. ensuite bathroom not cleaned every day. think it was cleaned on 3rd or 4th day! 8 share dorm with 6 lads means it was dirtyyy!! no lockers in rooms. gotta pay for lockers downstairs for 24 hour periods. not enough power sockets in room. no BYO booze due to onsite bar.

Hostel was really good! Special deals on drinks at the bar were excellent! My only problem was we booked a private twin room, but we got a double room - as I was with my cousin this was quite awkward, so one of us has to sleep on the bunk beds in the room with a bed sheet as a duvet! Also the milk in the room (for the tea and coffee) was rotten! So check the milk before you use it! Other than that, it was great! I would stay there again 100%

The staff were Great and very friendly. The atmosphere definitely gave us an exciting vibe to be there. We were there for a business trip so it was a bonus having to use their shuttle bus - the drivers always went out their way to pick us up. I was very happy with their services. We would definitely be back there again and would recommend them to a!!

Staff were exceptionally friendly and trying hard to make me feel better when I arrived tired and downbeat. The location of the hostel is good, close to some cafes, bars and supermarket. Also within walking distance to the city. The rooms could have lockers for additional security, but the swipe cards are good. The building could do with a bit of maintenance in the rooms, curtain rail and curtains. Overall a good experience, I stayed 8 nights all in all while I was looking for accommodation.

Great staff, hourly shuttle was convenient, entire building was clean. The location was in the West-end with a nice night-life, and a wide assortment of foods to choose from (Greek,Lebanese,Japanese,Thai,Indian,Chinese,Italian,Vegan). Grocery store pretty far. 20 minute walk (1 minute shuttle-bus ride) to the library (free internet there), art gallery and museum. Downtown Brisbane is about a 30 minute walk from the hostel, or about 10 minutes from the shuttle-bus drop-off point.

Some guests take the hostels slogan "I only sleep with the best" too serious and were pretty happy about the bowl with free condoms on the front desk.

Our room and bathroom were very dirty. They said they'll come to clean it up in one day but they never did. Internet was very expensive. It was very long walk to the city and the hostel's shuttle bus didn't take you there (only to transit center and from there you had to walk). But it was good that they had the shuttle service.

The outside area was very nice, people were nice and open minded - we had a great stay! Unfortunetely our bathroom war dirty (especially the shower) and the kitchen was almost unbearable. It is very social and good to have an exchange programme with India but please make them wash their dishes properly and clean their mess up!!!!

I stayed in the same room for two weeks, and the sink in our bathroom didn't get cleaned even once!! It could be that the rest of the bathroom got cleaned, but I wouldn't be too sure about it. There are shelves, cupboards and a fridge in every room, but no lockers. If you want to lock up your valuables when you're not in the room, you have to pay for lockers in the reception. It's not a noisy hostel. What I liked very much was the area around the hostel. Good possibilities for 2nd hand shopping!
