Great stay, was perfect for our dance congress held across the road! :-) Will try to be back next year. Would have been good to be able to book into a mixed dorm with a male friend of mine.

30 minutes walk to the city center. It's fairly invigorating to walk in the morning, no hassle at all, as long as we stick to the signboard. :) It's really a great deal to stay in this hostel, nice big house, clean shower room, helpful staff. But my roommates suck during the first 2 nights.

Pros: The hostel is very tidy and spacious. Good size rooms and decent price. Very quite and good choice for working people. Cons: The staff is not organized, first day when i arrived lady at reception told me that it is 25$ per night. On the second day another lady at reception told me it was 20. On the day i have checked out receptionist miraculously forgot that i already paid what the room.I guess phrase "Get It Together" would come handy in this matter.

A quiet, strange little hostel- but you can get sleep here and its in fortitude valley right in the party scene. Far out from the city- but just one stop on the train- it wasnt any hassle, and i really enjoyed my stay here.

They didn't have any dorms available like we had requested, so we got a great private room with two beds, a fridge, and a sink for the same price! Clean and secure, gave us extra blankets on cold nights. No food included though.

My dorm room was comfy and generously equipped and the showers/toilets were clean. A good place if you want to stay somewhere quiet and comfortable. Good value.
