Hostelworld.com

One of the better hostels I've been in. It's a fair bit to walk to the city or southbank, but it's a lovely 10min walk. I know people have been complaining about the music in their reviews, but they turned it off at 10pm and I slept like a baby. I would absolutely reccomend it! Pool was great, views were beautiful and it was conveniently located close to train stations, southbank and cbd.

With a built in Bar and Pool this is not a quiet place to stay but if you are up for the laughs then this is the place for you.

Excellent location for transport and city. Lively pub downstairs. Clean, good security, friendly staff on the desk, but as they were not 'locals' were not 100% up on activities. Suitable for all ages.

Excellent facilities Stayed at a few places in Brisbane, this is the best so far. Very handy if there\'s a game at Suncorp (5min walk) and only a short walk to the city. Good bar and great to have a backpackers with a pool

the hostel was quite cold i had to wear a jumper to sleep, we found a cockroach. a bit far away from centre of town but its not to far walk. i would stay there again i think

Staff was ok but could have been nicer. No locks or ability to store luggage in room is a minus but free internet is a plus. The common room was great. Location is decent, near bus terminal. A bit noisy if you wanna sleep due to the bar. Stayed two nights.

The hostel was clean but there was a really funky off smell - kind of like mould in the room. It made me gag everytime I went into the room. Also, the elevator wasn't working during the time I was there - it was pretty hard to drag a case weighing 25kgs up three flights of stairs...

I dislike very much the noises from the pub which is just situated beside the rooms. How can we rest and sleep well?
