The kitchen and bathroom facilities where adequate, but my one major letdown was the bedroom. The bedroom had no windows and bad ventilation which meant the room smelled. Also having no natural light in a bedroom in my opinion is never a good thing and after a while you get a distinct feeling of cabin fever, although luckily it was for only one night. Also I beleve this is a safety issue in the case of fire.In my country this is against health and safety regulations.

Close to the CBD. I don't know if there were more bathrooms on other floors but on our floor (first) there were only 3 toilets for the women and there was always one which were out of order. Kitchen nice but too small and hot and not enough crockery. Main problem with the bedroom was that above the door there was a panel with large holes cut out, don't know why this had been done, but that meant that you couldn't get it dark in the bedroom, light was always shining through.

A large hostel with friendly staff and a well equipped kitchen. Rooms could do with some air con! Very hot at night! Great outdoor court yard for socialising. Overall a pleasant stay.

No air conditioner in the room but ventilator, up to 30 degrees Celsius and more in the room in summer (january). No closet in room, only one chair to lay clothes on. I was in a single room. Washing room clean and big enough. Internet not too expensive.

The carpet in the single room I stayed in was disgustingly dirty! Didnt dare to put one feet on the ground w/o shoes on!! Apparently not vacuumed in ages!! 2 hours timer for the fan is not really helpful when its hot at night. Bathroom and toilettes were however comparably clean, thanks for that.

For the solo traveller it is not the best hostel to meet other travellers as it is so large.

I've stayed on dozens of hostels, but come on guys. Perth. The sunniest capital in Australia. That's the good news. The bad news is that the hostel DOESN'T have air condition. Plus the rooms were very small. I was so glad to leave it. I will give this hostel such a bad review on Tripadvisor.

Our room did not have a fan so it was extremely hot at night. It is in a vibrant part of the city, but it is hard to sleep with the window open because it can be loud at night. Great staff though.

Big hostel, but very nice staff. The hostel around the corner was very noisy tho. Depending on where your room is and how much they're partying it could get difficult to get some sleep.

if you're drunk or stoned enough to sleep through the night with loud music all night long then this is the hostel for you. for all other guests who would like peach and quiet at least during the night then find somewhere else. The facilities are run down and not very clean.

VERY unclean and rundown rooms and halls. Poor facilities. Very noisy both street noise and internal noise. Management refused refund of money paid upfront for 3 nights even though I checked out after one night.

The beds are too soft, need matress changes. The walls in the rooms need cleaning. Otherwise toilets and showers are very clean.

A little too noisy at night when you have your room on the backside but otherwise a nice clean place to stay in. I especially liked the 24 hour receiption.

Great place with good and clean facilities. Well organised but a bit crowded since often fully booked. Plus point is convenient to do cooking to save cost. Neighbourhood offer varieties of food if opted to eat out.

Planned on staying only one week which turned into 8 weeks. Very sociable hostel and 10 min walk from the city centre. The main criticism would be that the facilities need to be updated. The kitchen needs new fridges, freezers, pans etc. Also, the TV room needs a new TV. Aircon would be nice as the rooms were very hot at night while trying to sleep. That said, I would definately return.
