On my arrival there was construction work taking place that was not made clear to me whilst I had made the booking. On two successive nights there was construction work at both 08:30am and 09:30am. When I had asked if the noise was to continue for the second nights stay, i was assured that it would not. However, i later found out that it did, and that the manager had merely lied to me. The manner of the staff was appalling and I will make further notes to other travellers to malta.

it was a nice hotel, close to the center of valletta and very spacious rooms! They were cleaned every day, so that was good. The breakfast was very bad though.

The British Hotel might have some charming rooms, but mine was more like a cell. The tiny room had an even tinier en suite, into which leaked the water from the (broken) shower. The restaurant was dismal and the breakfast appaling. Not at all worth the 40 Euros I spent as the hostels I stayed in were cheaper, friendlier and cleaner. Do not stay here!   Read Owner Comments

I THINK THAT THIS HOTEL IS OLD AND NEED A CHANGE,. iT'S LIKE A HOSTEL , NO HOTEL 3 STAR. BEATIFUL VIEW FROM BREAKFAST 'S TERRACE. CLEAN SHEET AND ROOM. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS GOOD. IF YOU ARE A GIRL, BE CAREFUL WITH NIGHT ON THE STREET, IT'S ALONE.
