Nice, clean place. Friendly staff. Still no breakfast as they're under renovation but was aware of that before I booked. Wifi didn't work in the room only in the common area on the first floor. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and public transportation. I'd stay here again.

Owner Comment (Hide)
thanks for your comments. Hopefully we will be serving breakfast towards the last week of March when the restaurant opens. We are also in the process of having wifi in most rooms as for the moment its free in the public areas. Thanks for taking the time to comment and glad you enjoyed your stay :)

My room was a very small single I didn't expect much for £30, really basic but clean. Ok for a single night and better than a hostel.

This is actually a hotel vs a hostel. It appears they're making some rooms available for use while they're undergoing MAJOR renovations. While it was nice having a room and facilities to myself, the place has no amenities to speak of except for instant coffee available in the morning. Again, during these renovations, the "lobby" is a desk in a hallway, and there is a "lounge" consisting of two sofas in a wide hallway. This lounge is also the only spot with WiFi access.
