For one night it was good, the bathroom was very dirty but the bed was comfortable. I woldn't sleep in there more than one night.

Brodies hostel smelled very weird. The bathrooms were clean enough, but the bed sheets were already on the bed when we arrived and did not seem clean at all. The people who worked at the front desk during the day were vey nice.

I would recommend a couple of improvements to make one's stay more comfortable. 1) Buy decent beds or at least a decent matress. We had to put the matress on the floor to make it more bearable. 2) Screw down the floorboards, it seems every one is loose and as people are walking about all night the noise makes it difficult to sleep

It is cheaper than the others but they charge you for everything - locker, internet, etc... It is better and cheaper staying in a hostel that costs you 1-2 euros more but that includes everything in this price.

Great location. Need more power points in the rooms. Beds squeaky. Kitchen is very dirty.

We had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of space to move around. The front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable on what to do and which day trips were good. I would definitely stay here again!

Great kitchen, the dorm and toilets stunk, but it was really cheap. So if you don't mind an olfactory assault, don't worry.

Location on "The Mile" can't be beat, friendly staff and a great room. I'd stayed in the main building's dorm a few years ago, and chose Brodie's this time around based on that good experience. They didn't disappoint, this time we had a single room in their new building across the road. The room was ready well ahead of our check-in time, and was very comfortable with a nice view. Slightly lower marks for facilities (washroom was small) and atmosphere (felt a little bare, but not bad).
