Different from what's described in the international news, it's quite safe to travel in Egypt now. I've been to 13 countries and most of the time lived in hostels. Brother hostel is a top hostel I ever stayed in. Their hospitality and friendliness far exceeds customers' expectation for hostels and even some 3 star or 4 star hotels. I want to thank Mohamed for his help and Sherif for the time he spent chatting and hanging out together with me. The rest of the team are also very nice and helpful!

Excellent hostel! We would stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable and inexpensive place to stay in central Cairo.
