With my boyfriend booked just for the first night as it was our first time in Egypt and we weren't sure about the place, mainly the location. When we just arrived, the staff received us very kindly, giving advises for our trip in Egypt. Every time we needed something they were worried about us, helping us in the best way to make our trip the most comfortable. Even we needed to pick up the visa for India, they went to do it for us, that was very kind from them. after that, we came back twice :)

Beside what media shows Cairo is very safe, people are very helpful and friendly, metro is really cheap and convenient. In BROTHERS HOSTEL we found everything what we need. Staff in the BROTHERS HOSTEL is extremely nice with sense of humor. Location is very good,10 mins walk from SADAT Metro station, and all necessary things are around.

Just an appreciate the value of the staff. They take care in all aspects to the costumer. Location is specially great, and you feel totally safe. According to the facilities, they are close to the main transport points (train, bus, and metro) in a very central street. Honestly highly recommendable to all visitors, good price and better service!!

Very friendly staff were helpful arranging trips and activities. Right in the middle of Cairo only a short walk from tahrir square. Post revolution I had some concerns about safety, but I felt very safe and comfortable here.

The hostel is in perfect position, 5 min walk to River Nile & Egyptian Museum. Most importantly, the staff and environment was fantastic and helpful. If im asked to tell sth negative, the only thing impressed me was the over-lively streets (:

I felt like we were being waited on hand and foot! Delicious and fresh free breakfast with good coffee, they even ordered us breakfast when we left early in the morning for one of the tours. Rooms were great, ours even had a balcony. The staff helped us organize our whole week complete with a personal driver for CHEAP. May possibly be more expensive than other tours, but well worth it to not have to ever venture out on our own as two young girls. The driver bought us lunch once, it was awesome!

The team is really nice and helpfull. The place is really clean, common place, toilets/showers, room and sheets. The hostel is well placed in Talaat Harb, in the center of Down Town close to the main attraction point and transportations. The breakfast is filling. The hostel is quiet and cheap for the confort it offers compared to other hostels around.

The second time around we got the double room with wood floor and balcony. Noisy (Cairo traffic is crazy, with constant horn honking), but worth it to me. Lobby rather than common room, with staff always watching the TV. Breakfast is simple: bread & jam, cheese, hard-boiled egg, cheese, tea. Staff arranged transport to the airport (70 LE), so we saw Thalaat again at 5:00 a.m. Great location, walking distance from Egyptian Museum, but far enough from Tahrir Square that protests do not affect it.

Maybe it's of high quality for Cairo but I have never been to a hostel that is so small and featureless. It's a reception with a TV on the counter, bench seats surrounding it as a 'lounge.' A small L shaped corridor and maybe 4 bedrooms. Tiny kitchenette and shared toilets. I guess I'm used to common areas. We had to have breakfast before breakfast was available too, so reheated buns, jam and a boiled egg... On the plus, our private double room was very clean and comfortable, nice staff too.

Excellent staff and free airport pickup made our first day in Cairo go smoothly. Simple breakfast is included, but staff invited us to share their authentic Egyptian breakfast! Near metro and Egyptian Museum; 15 minute walk to train station. Building is rough. Booked double room, shared bath. "Upgraded" to ensuite room, but w twin beds and tile floor. Reasonably quiet at night. Egyptian showers don't have shower curtains, so bathrooms get wet and slippery! We'll be back at the end of our trip.
