Really close to the transport links and with a brilliant host. Quiet, clean and safe, i would highly recommend Brown's.

Mathew is a great guy and the residency definetately a good place to stay. If there is anything he can help you he is doing it with a smile. We were always feeling good during our stay!

A clean, excellently-maintained house only a short rickshaw ride from all local amenities and walking distance to town centre restaurants and shops. Host could not be more helpful or charming and went out of his way, but without any pressure whatsoever, to help us arrange the type of backwater trip we wanted. Would highly recommend.

Matthew was an excellent host. He came to meet us at the train station, arranged a rickshaw ride to the house and organised a trip on a houseboat for us. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and well located - I would highly recommend staying here.

Brown's is a not a typical hostel - it is a guesthouse in the truest sense of the word. The 3 or 4 rooms are situated in an actual home, which is not inhabited at the time by its owners. The place is really nice and extremely clean. Location is good. Price is great. Matthew was a good help in booking some things for us. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a quick place to crash before or after your houseboat.
