This guesthouse was one of the cleanest in India (traveled for 3 months), comfortable, safe and good location. Mathew was great- really helpful and hospitable. Enjoyed our stay very much, I recommend this place to anyone who plans on staying in Alleppey for cheap accommodation. (2 women-24yrs old)

This is the best place to stay in Alapuzzha (Alleppey)! Matthew the owner is amazing, so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. He has a company that operate tours of the backwaters - went on a 2 person overnight boat (1 bedroom) for total Rs5000 and it was amazing. Went to the little canals, docked at a village that we could walk through, and the food was amazing! Get AC (Rs 500 more). The location is great, beach is 15min walk, town 5-10 mins in other direction. Thanks Matthew!!!
