Great kitchen - very well equipped! Place was nice, in a good central location. In general seemed to have a much older crowd (people in 30s).

Our 3-bed room was really small but it was clean. Unfortunately there was no wifi in the room available but everything else was fine. So we had a pleasant stay at Bru`s and I would stay there again.

The place and staff are nice. Lockers don't lock but you can lock valuables downstairs

I liked staying at your Hostel very much. I was able to get a good nights sleep there and the atmosphere is very nice.

Perfect location in the Cork city centre above a lively bar that is visited by both backpackers and local regulars. Live music every night (always something different) and an enthusiastic team of staff members. Definitely one of my favourite hostels in Ireland.

Mick, Michelle and Loulou; thank you for keeping me hydrated! I had a good weekend here.

The staff was nice and helpful and the price included breakfast, there were a lot of things to choose from. What I did not like is that there was only wifi in the public areas that were sometimes too crowded to plug in your laptop or whatever. To compensate this the hostel was very clean and the room was also nice, neat and tidy.

Great location and good atmosphere with the bar downstairs! Can be noisy at night so may be difficult to get a good nights sleep at times but otherwise a great hostel with friendly staff.

Good selection of beers in the bar. Our room 102 was noisy, every night live music just under our beds... Also lot of noise from the street. Room and shower were clean but radiator was super dusty. Lots of different notifications hanging on the walls all over the hostel, and thats why not so nice atmosphere. At breakfast nobody washed their dishes, someone from staff should supervise it now and then. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good hostel, clean rooms , nice staff. The kitchen is catastrophical. Very dirty and dark. The WiFi is not available in the upper rooms.

Great location, lovely staff and great fun but the rooms were very cramped and stuffy and it could do with having a few more showers.

Perfect accommodation for a single night stay:)

Pretty close to the train and bus stations. Nice to have a bar on ground floor. There is live music every night. Kitchen, bathrooms and common area are fine - everything you need.

The accommodations at Bru Bar were pretty much like any other hostel. Where they exceed was the staff. Our stay at Cork was made amazing by the great staff. They offered great advice on what to see, do and eat during our stay and were the friendliest you could ask for. I even had a hiccup with my rental car company, and the staff helped to every degree possible. Grade A.

The combination of a bar and a hostel works fantastic at this establishment.

Loved it - was only staying one night but I was greeted warmly by the guys behind the bar. Thank you for keeping me company!

Great location, in the middle of the downtown area. Within walking distance to multiple restaurants and bars with live music and other great sightseeing ideas. The bar on the first floor can get loud, but the noise does not translate up through to the living quarters. Under-the-bed cages for security; bring your own lock. Key cards changed nightly for safety and required to get inside.
