Bruges Budget Hotel Reviews

The room was really comfortable but the breakfast wasn't enough if someone would arrive after 9h30.

We were suprised that our "flat" was so big with TV, a good equipped kitchen. The Beds wer too smooth for us.

We booked a private room in order to avoid groups of young loud people. Unfortunately, a group of young, loud girls had a party all night long in the room next door. Very annoying. And a family with young children downstairs woke us up early next morning. But we had a lovely time, expect for that one night.

The breakfast was an sich was nice for a hostel, but it was quite badly organized. There was not enough crockery and there were no eggs and croissants anymore at 9am (breakfast was till 10am). Also the juice was finished at some point. I guess it would not be that difficult to purchase more plates and bowls and to have a bigger stock of food.

Stayed in the hotel part and had an awesome time. Only 10 mins walk to centre. Staff were very helpful and social. Would defo recommended.

Good place, nice people : but Internet is only available in the lobby and in the bar / restaurant (no wifi access in the rooms).

We liked this hostel but we do wish the beds were a little thicker - the foam is a little skimpy. We had to climb to the 3rd floor - if I had known, I would have asked if a 1st floor room was available. It was a little tough on my 75 year old mother. But the staff was so nice and so helpful - very much appreciated when traveling overseas.

Nice hostel, if I went to Brugges again I wouldn't mind staying there again. 5 minutes by walk from the very centre of the city.

Le balai n'a pas été passé avant notre arrivée dans la chambre. Le sol était vraiment sale. Ensuite, un des radiateurs fonctionnait très mal, et faisait un bruit désagréable en continu au point qu'il était difficile de s'endormir. Il y avait un système de ventilation au-dessus de mon lit qui n'a pas cessé, lui aussi de faire du bruit. Au prix auquel on paie la chambre, il n'y a qu'un mot à dire : arnaque !

I loved my stay in Bruges the room was comfortable and clean and the staff were so kind and helpful. The resturant had really good value food - don't forget to have the beer taster. This is by far the best place to stay in Bruges thanks guys

If I have time I will go there again, definitely.

We had a very nice time at Bauhaus Hostel, the only bad thing was the smell in the hall. (sewer air)

Great, clean and fun hostel! Would have liked to be a little closer to the city centre, but it was a great stay!

+ Nice place to stay for a few days. Staff is really cool and friendly! - WiFi doesn't work well in the room (4th floor). We have one electric outlet only in the bathroom. It was a real problem to charge laptop)

I stayed in the Budget Hotel not the hostel. My only complaint is when you stay in a hotel, towels are usually provided. Otherwise a nice stay.

We were very happy with the hostel. There wasn't much character but our private two bedroom room was newly refurbished, comfortable and clean. Not much character but if you're looking for an excellent value within Bruges you won't be disappointed.
