I usually stay at hostels but in Brunei I splashed out on a night at the Brunei Hotel. It was well worth it. The staff were friendly the room was great and the inclusive breakfast buffet was a big bonus for someone with a large appetite like me! The location, so close to the bus station, was perfect. the hotel is so well situated for all Bangdar has to offer. The rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Located in the city centre of BSB. There could be no better spot for an accomodation. Staff very friendly, breakfast buffet or special dish for choise, perfect Wifi in rooms available. This is a great little hotel, in a great location. The staff are very helpful and breaky was awesome.. with heaps to choose from. Accross the road is a good net cafe, and tourist info desk. Its around the block to the bus stop. Good for the express bus to Kota kinabalu or to Miri.
I didnt give many points for character or Fun, because its not a hostel.. is a hotel.. so it doesnt really matter. Will definatly use this place again.. The hotel is in a great location, right downtown. Taxi from airport is $20 but you can take a bus to the airport for only $1, which leaves from right behind the hotel.
