Things not to like about this miserable place. 1. the moody staff - they almost never smile or offer more than a few words of advice about the city 2. the heat - the rooms are incredibly hot. Our only window opened onto a terrace accessible to other guests. 3. the shower floods the bathroom if you use it and the toilet is practically in the shower 4. the hotel is in the middle of the "red light" district. 4. the price is extremely expensive for the above.
The Hotel was nice, despite being around a few strip clubs. The biggest issues we had was the shower was right next to the toilet with nothing but a shower curtain to divide them. The shelves were above the toilet, so you still had to reach over it to get anything, and the whole bathroom was soaking wet. The number one thing that would make a difference to me is air conditioning. Our room was on the fourth floor and it was hot even with the window open and a fan running.
We had a wonderful stay here! It was close to the train station but also walkable to the city center so it was great location. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The biggest downside was that there is no AC. With summer temperature in Munich it was very hard to sleep without AC.
This hotel was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable and well priced for the night I was there. Free breakfast was great and ran for longer than most ive had. Only a short walk from the shopping district and very easy to get to from the train station.
The hotel was clean, the room spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is close to the station which was good but a bit of a walk from the centre (20ish minutes) which doesn't seem too long but after a few steins at a beer hall, it can be quite a journey. There is no wifi in the rooms which was more annoying than we expected. The ensuite doesn't have any ventilation so it stays very steamy after a hot shower. The ensuite is small in comparison to the room as well.
