Really cool and laid back hostal, proximity to the metro station was great, however location itself is not too good. Loved the friendly staff, they were awesome, except for the cleaning lady she was rude. Overall I would stay here again in a heartbeat :) breakfast was simple but sufficient.

Very friendly staff, good free breakfast, could use more personal lamps in dorm rooms, location a little outside main part of town but very easy access to trains to centre

The overall stay was good but the hostel really is far away from the city center. Brussels is a large city so I definitely recommend purchasing a 10-ride pass if you will be there for a few days, it will get you to the hostel with ease. The hostel is located very close to the metro but is in a slightly dodgy area. The bar was fantastic with great chances and an opportunity to try many Belgium beers. The bartender is excellent! Also, breakfast was good and it's a great hostel to meet new friends.

I have stayed at many hostels around the world and I have to say that I really liked this one. The hostel is well laid out and spacious (including the rooms) so it doesn't feel as though people are on 'top of each other'. Very nice bar/eating area and this is in addition to a separate kitchen for those who prefer to self cater. One of the cleanest hostels I have stayed in which is a big plus. And the metro is a 2 minute walk away. So in my opinion this is a 4 star hostel.

There was mold on every wall and the ceiling of the room and there are no lockers in the room. The bathrooms were very nice however.

Overall it was a nice place, but push start showers with doors that don't lock properly isn't ideal...

Not the best hostel I've been to, but the price was right. It's average in almost every way, but the common dining room is quite nice and the WIFI is pretty good. The area doesn't seem the best, but the close proximity to the subway was convenient and made it easy to leave the hostel neighborhood. For a weekend in Brussels, it was fine and certainly not gross or unappealing, just average.

After wrong allocation of room, I shifted to the actual room. Clean, tidy, pleasant, just like how the hostel should be. Bed was making some noise :-( Free breakfast was nice. I will give 10 to the location as its very near to metro station.

Nice hostel and nice breakfast. It is far from city center, but you can use the metro line or a cab.

A very nice hostel, perfect if you are in transit and want a good night's sleep. It's right next to a metro station and easily accessible. In close vicinity is also a small fast food shop that sells the best pita I've ever eaten. I would gladly stay here again.

We only stayed one night as we went for the weekend for the Christmas Markets. The hostel was very close to the metro and not far from the centre of town. Rooms were a good size and clean.

Great hostel, clean and tidy. Not in the centre but very easy to get there via the subway. Worth staying that little bit out of the main area for a clean bathroom and a good nights sleep. Staff are lovely too.

The hostel is OK, it is really out of way, and it takes about 30 minutes on the train to get into town. For the amount the hostel costs (25euro a night for a 4 bed dorm) you would think it would be closer to town. Breakfast was just OK, a few selections of cereal, and toast. They did have a coffee machine though, which was cool. The rooms could also be a bit cleaner, my room was covered in long hair, and I was the first person to check in! The bar area is nice, but nothing was happening there

it wouldn't harm the blokes at the reception to smile a little. other than that, warm and comfortable I guess. not much atmosphere, no security in the rooms and definitely not a central location

The only thing I liked about this hostel is that it was right across the street from the metro station. I stayed in a ground floor room and the curtains barely covered the windows, plus they had mold on the bottom of them. The kitchen was very small and there was just enough room for two people to cook at one time. There were no lockers in the room so if you wanted to keep your stuff locked up you had to put it in the locker room. Only one heater worked in my room so it was cold.

The hostel was in a really good place - right next to the metro and a 5 minute train-ride into the city. The kitchen was small but well equipped. Most of the staff were extremely nice. However, the showers and toilets were pretty dreadful, the blankets weren't very clean, and overall it didn't feel like very good value for money.
