Beds comfy and showers great! Stayed in girls building approx. 100m down road fron main building. Atmosphere average as not many people around due to time of year.

This was a very clean, bright hostel. It was not ideally situated for town but was right next to a metro station so getting around was no problem. There was a well stocked bar and staff were helpful and friendly. Good value for money.

Decently clean bathrooms and rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. A bit far from the attractions but literally a one minute walk to a metro station. Had nice lounge/bar area with good, free wifi.

There's a separate building for girls (if you're coming as a group of girls). The rooms are nice, with bunk beds and a table. The only issue is that there is only two bathrooms for the whole building of girls, so you might need to wait a while to use them. They're nicely equipped though, with a decent hairdryer in the bathrooms. The wifi didn't work in our rooms. The breakfast provided is simple (cornflakes, toast) but it's always nice to have a free breakfast.

Bathrooms were not clean at all. Also, rooms don't have lockers. There is just one big room for the entire hostel to leave their bags, and you can only access it if a person in the reception opens it for you, which I found pretty uncomfortable and unsafe.

Dear Hello Hostel Team, I found the receptionist very helpful and caring. She gave me good information about the things that I asked and also helped booking taxi etc. Thank you very much but so sorry for not knowing the name of the receptionist. I enjoyed my stay at the hostel. It was worth the price. But still I wish to make only one constructive suggestion. The toilets seem to have very poor ventilation. That is why when the room door is open it started to smell. May Summer is different.

Great location, Brussels is so condensed that it was simple to walk or take the subway/metro really quickly to where we wanted to go, staff were amazing in helping us orient ourselves in the city, and the hostel is right next door to the Godiva chocolate factory so make sure you check out the factory outlet store for some yummy discounts!

Very good hostel for its price. The staff was friendly and helpful, provided us with info on the facilities and transportation from the hostel. Rooms were large, they didn't have as many power outlets as beds but not a big problem. Everything was quite clean, the kitchen was big enough for two groups to cook simultaneously, but there was no abundance of pans or cutlery. There is a bar which is ideal for meeting new people, and the overall atmospere i great.

Internet did not work. Communal kitchen was full of dirty dishes. Showers have no hoses, I find this not useful. Between 3 and 4 am I had to listen constant talking came from corridor, due to this I could not sleep. I paid for room for 4, but you could not give me a place in such a room, so I had to live in a room for 6 people. Moreover, I had to ask for a compensation by myself, and you, as I can see, consider this normal.

Unfortunately I did not expect to find a hostel in Brussels, the European capital, in such a poor condition. The lady at the reception knew nothing about our bookings although they had been made several weeks in advance, she needed an extremely long time to figure things out and give us our room, she only spoke French, instead of at least English or basic vocabulary in other languages. The room smelled awful, it was very loud on the coridor, the showers were dirty, the matress was unconfortable!

Had a very good stay at Hello Hostel. Superfriendly and helpful staff, located right next to metro station and a chocolate factory :). Breakfast was really good (especially compared to the experience I've made in other hostels). Nice common room with free wifi and a bar serving a variety of Belgian beer in the evening. Two points of criticism: there were too few showers (I had to wait for a while in the morning) and there was some mold on the walls in my room. But overall I've enjoyed my stay!

The hostel is next to the train station, great location! If you are good at foot you can do everything walking. The Rooms were very clean , and the blankets had great quality. The beds had good size and the space between the beds was good as well. The breakfast was good , if you know how work a hostel, I could say the breakfast was great! Selma, Australia
