This hostel is just a walk from Plaza Catalunya and it's very close to the metro station. We liked staying here because of the atmosphere, perfect if you want to relax a bit from sightseeing and going out in Barcelona. Valentina at the reception was extremely nice and helpful! We also enjoyed the walking tour around the Gothic part of the city, we recommend it!

Buba house is an amazing, friendly, welcoming hostel! If you want a simple place you can sleep in at a low cost with good facilities its the place for you! The kitchen was useful for being able to cook your own meals and breakfast was simple but ever so good (the granolas insane)! Definately recommend buba house!

Great location, staff friendly and helpful, but the room was crazy hot with only a fan to cool us down! And the pillows weren't too comfortable. Otherwise, really good!

Asked for a private room, ended up in a bunk bad. Careful and confirm before you arrive or reserve.

Buba House is in a great location, close to a metro station, and close to several tourist attractions. Staff are helpful, the room is basic but if you're looking for a roof for the night, Buba house is all you need. I would stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay at Buba House. However, they have 2 big problems: the rooms are really noisy because of the cars passing in the street during the night and they are also really hot. The rooms have fans, however those don't help a lot with the heat. So, if they had air conditioners, they could solve two problems: the noise (we had to sleep with our windows open because it was really hot) and the heat. Apart from those problems, everything was fine.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Bathrooms kept clean throughout the day. Old building, hence noise levels strongly dependent on other guests.

The stay was good. However it's difficult to sleep in the room next to the main road due to the sound. The staff were helpful in finding us alternative rooms for a few nights but the nights in the balcony rooms were not great.

Genius location, friendly and helpful staff, decent wifi. A discreet entrance with a charming vintage elevator.

Thankful they had luggage storage however it was not very secure. A closet in the common room not locked. Linens felt old and not very clean. Very minimal sheets and no towels. Bathroom clean. Easy to access from cruise port. Good directions given to ride metro to get there. Would not return.

Buba House localization it's great! Staff was nice and helpful. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Cool kitchen and good breakfast, I've felt like home. Dorms doors have a code to enter and they give you the building keys, so it's also safe.

The most amazing English speaking staff (they recommended on of the best restaurants in the neighborhood and answered all the questions about exploring the city). Let people in only from 9 AM. Unlimited breakfast: DIY toasts, 2 kinds of jams, butter, milk, tea, coffee, boiled eggs. Very clean rooms and bathrooms (2 separate bathrooms on 1 floor, no queues in the morning). Would definitely recommend and stay again. 30 min walking distance to the old town (Bari), aprox 1 hour till the beach.

Given the limited space available, BubaHouse is cleverly arranged. It has a really nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere, much more pleasant than the frantic pace of some of the bigger hostels. It is very central, giving easy access to most of the sights. All the members of staff I met were friendly and very helpful. I would happily stay there again.

Easy to miss the front door because it's rather hidden, but very nice overall.
