Great location. The room is larger than I thought. There is no a very large place where everyone gathers. So if you seek for making lots of new friends, honestly I don't recommend here. But on the contrary it is quite and clean.

First things, don't get too excited about eggs for breakfast, they are hard boiled :( Otherwise our stay at Buba suited us well as a young couple. It's well located and the private double room was nice and light if a little snug. Big fan provided which we were grateful for. Clean bathrooms even if the rooms aren't the cleanest. Very nice reception staff. Good breakfast. Would have been sad if travelling alone or with friends as no real common room or friendly atmosphere.

I stayed there for a weekend trip. I really liked the hostel, it's familiar and the staff is really friendly and caring. However, it's not one of these party hostels, but I appreciated that! They hand you towels, the breakfast is includes and good and it is located 5 minutes walk away from placa catalunya! The only negative point was, that I needed earplugs at night, because even at night the traffic is really loud.

Stayed there for only one night, in a female dorm. Breakfast was ok and location good. It was quite small hostel, not that good for meeting other travellers. But all in all, a nice place to stay for a short stay.

Nice and approachable staff and the hostel is walking distance from the Gothic quarter, Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya (where the airport bus drops you off). The breakfast is satisfying and the shared bathroom was quite clean. However, the single room was a little small and the mattress would sink in the middle, and it got very noisy well into the night with people carelessly slamming doors. I would recommend mainly for location.

A great hostel for a good price! I really liked the atmosphere, the location and the nice staff.

The location of the hostel is excellent. It's closed by to most of the tourist spots. The rooms are in separated units in an old building. It might be quite troublesome to manage, but we found it quite interesting. The staff is friendly and helpful, but they are staring at their computer most of the time. Maybe watching the security cameras in each unit floor and manage the hostel, who knows? :)

Very average hostel you get what you pay for. Very small, no air con and bathroom isn't very clean. Only 1 toilet and 1 shower I wouldnt stay here again. Not a lot going in the hostel either maybe organise some group activities eg pub crawl.

ıt's very close to central and hıstorıc places. The staff ıs very kind

This hostel is just a walk from Plaza Catalunya and it's very close to the metro station. We liked staying here because of the atmosphere, perfect if you want to relax a bit from sightseeing and going out in Barcelona. Valentina at the reception was extremely nice and helpful! We also enjoyed the walking tour around the Gothic part of the city, we recommend it!

Nice and colourful with helpful, friendly staff :) Ideally located and comfortable.

Buba house is an amazing, friendly, welcoming hostel! If you want a simple place you can sleep in at a low cost with good facilities its the place for you! The kitchen was useful for being able to cook your own meals and breakfast was simple but ever so good (the granolas insane)! Definately recommend buba house!

Great location, staff friendly and helpful, but the room was crazy hot with only a fan to cool us down! And the pillows weren't too comfortable. Otherwise, really good!

Asked for a private room, ended up in a bunk bad. Careful and confirm before you arrive or reserve.

Buba House is in a great location, close to a metro station, and close to several tourist attractions. Staff are helpful, the room is basic but if you're looking for a roof for the night, Buba house is all you need. I would stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay at Buba House. However, they have 2 big problems: the rooms are really noisy because of the cars passing in the street during the night and they are also really hot. The rooms have fans, however those don't help a lot with the heat. So, if they had air conditioners, they could solve two problems: the noise (we had to sleep with our windows open because it was really hot) and the heat. Apart from those problems, everything was fine.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Bathrooms kept clean throughout the day. Old building, hence noise levels strongly dependent on other guests.

The stay was good. However it's difficult to sleep in the room next to the main road due to the sound. The staff were helpful in finding us alternative rooms for a few nights but the nights in the balcony rooms were not great.

Genius location, friendly and helpful staff, decent wifi. A discreet entrance with a charming vintage elevator.

Thankful they had luggage storage however it was not very secure. A closet in the common room not locked. Linens felt old and not very clean. Very minimal sheets and no towels. Bathroom clean. Easy to access from cruise port. Good directions given to ride metro to get there. Would not return.
