We order double bed room and got twin room, they said the double is more expensive than what we paid for.. In the house we shared (for 12 people) we had only one shower and one bath and two toilets- one of them cannot be locked...
I would just suggest to them to organize surf lessons only for single person, right now they require a minimum of 2.

Fabulous views of beach and lagoon from balconies but at backpacker rates, and only a few minutes walk to beach with free canoes for lagoon and lots of other beach activities. Very helpful staff, highly recommended
I really enjoyed my time at this hostel, but its a bit pricey. The meals at night are by far the most expensive of any hostel I stayed in, but it was quite tasty and where you are the options are slim. But if you like to party then this is the place for you to go. No lockers in the rooms, but you can leave your valuables in the safe at reception. Short walk too the beach and the views are just amazing, both day time and night time.
The "red dorm" is spacious, beds are really comfortable, there is a woody terrace and a great view to the Ocean. The hostel is on a hill, ther is a kitchen, common spaces, a swimmingpool and a lot of green. In 5 minutes walking down to the hill you get to the beach, that is long, long, long. Just on the other hill in front, you can find a minimarket and some pubs. Wifi costs 40 rand a hour, that's really too much. That is the only downside
It's a great place to be! It has a view that beats any 5 star resorts. Backpacking life doesn't get better than this. Very near beach. Nice swimming pool and bar. Dinner good but bit pricey. My only issue is that the kitchen is a mess all the time. No free internet but available. The staff is okay but not great. Oh the girls are great specially the one with dog. but I don't like the Swiss boy who volunteers there. Not helpful and not frienly. He has no business being in hospitality business.
Best bacpackers in South Africa! Great atmosphere created by the staff, very organised in sorting out the many many trips that are planned each day. the rooms are in seperate houses/cottages with bathrooms and kitchen. But make sure you eat at their restaurant that serves the best home made food! A guitarist came in the evening and he was simply amazing. Nice pool and bar area where you can go for lunch and right above the beautiful 16kms of untouched beach,
Wonderful beach. If you are self-catering despite the good meals they offer and don't have your own car, bring your own food! The small corner shop in the village has only a small choice of products.
This place is like summer camp resort for backpackers. The hostel sprawls over a large area offering fantastic ocean views. It's about a short 5-10 min walk from Cintsa Beach and 10-15 mins walk from the town strip. The atmosphere is lively and jovial but I would imagine your experience will be largely influenced by your luck with the weather. Overall it's a great value and one of the more popular hostels in Cintsa. If you can, try and score one of the beds in the "cabin houses" down the hill.
Staff was very friendly and helpful; they never seemed annoyed. Very clean, great atmosphere, lively bunch of people, and the beach is a short walk from the hostel. Cottage like dorm felt like my own apartment with a kitchen and a living room. Great stay.
Loved the place! Great food, awesome views, spacious dorm (Blue dorm) with two different rooms + veranda. Cintsa is a quiet place, great if you want to get away for a view days. But you can also have a great time at the bar at Bucks.
Dont take surf lessons with logan. He's a good surfer, but an horrible teacher.
we arrived and the accommodation we had booked wasn't vailable. one of the safari tents we were given had a padlock on left by a previous guest which the hostel had made no attempt to take off so we were expected to sleep on a tent with an open door. we ended up leaving and found a lovely b&b on the other side of the river.

Great place! Loved it! Beautiful location, nice pool. Would like to go again!
Amazing place, if you're in the Cintsa aread, this is a must visit! Situated on the most beautiful slope overlooking the sea and beach and Cintsa-East, Buccaneers is like a fairly tale. Excellent and always helpful staff and tons of things to do. Only thing we didn't like is the paid wifi, but no big deal.
Stunning location, amazingly friendly and helpful staff, loads of activities. Something for everyone with pool, beach, good food, camping/dorms/private rooms. I tried to stay longer but, unsurprisingly, they were booked up. Top of my list when I return to South Africa!
We were very impressed with the Buccaneer. The staff were great to deal with. They offer a variety of things to do, meals are available and the cooking is excellent! Location, location, location....being so close to the beach, Indian Ocean was a bonus! Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit South Africa to book some time at the Buccaneers! Paul & Lise

Awesome!! So much fun, Staff are awesome
this place is fabulous you must stay here for a few days and chill out on the beach, by the pool or in the bar.....
Great place, staff, restaurant, all meals, atmosphere & location. Loved the view from the red dorm but, please, how could you not have such disgusting dorm bathrooms. Improvements needed, doors don't lock, showers are dirty & full of mold. The shower on the far right had no hot water & in general, they are not up to your standard. The dorm room could also do with some lockers, a light by some of the beds. The glass window by the far bunk is broken.
