it was soooo massive it was hard to meet people!!! :(

The backpacker is right next to the cemetary which they didn't mention on the website and I had a few things I didn't like, the bottom sheet on the bed was dirty, the lights in the bathrooms turn off every few minutes so you have to get out of the shower and go stand in the motion sensor to get the lights back on, and it can be quite noisy when people are talking in the halls or their rooms. We spent two amazing nights in the hostel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Having spent time in Edinburgh before it was differently the best location. Cleanliness of the hostel was top quality. We will definately returning and recommending the Budget Backpackers Hostel to all our friends.We spent two amazing nights in the hostel. This hostel was in a fantastic location, less than 10 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle and the start of the Royal Mile. Also close to pubs and cafes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of electric sockets.
