Very pricy for not even including breakfast. Girl at the desk wasn't very knowledgeable about the city, but anyway looked on internet and tried to help. Expensive but apparently there's not much to choose from.

I stayed in a twin room which had a bunk bed, no table, chair or wardrobe and was absolutely tiny. The shower would be too small for a normal-sized man. Our window faced the wall of the opposite building. In the hostel there's no cooking facilities, fridge or kettle either. It really wasn't worth the price. Good things were cleanliness, free wi-fi and the newness of the rooms and showers.

Only stayed there for two nights but room was comfortable and clean. Didn't make it for the breakfast as overslept both mornings. The attached bar is also a hotel's bar- drinks and food were reasonably priced. Staff at reception were excellent and friendly. Hostel was rather quite but to be expected for the middle of April. Would definitely recommend!

Went back for another night. As its a student city, you get quite a few newbies to hosteling and young, fun students to talk to.

A nice hostel to stay at. Friendly staff and good company in the rooms. In general, it's quite nice. Just not sure if the breakfast is worth the 7.5 euro (not included in the price), with so many cheap places near the Grote Markt

Everything in the building was new and clean. The staff were nice and helpful. And even let us check in early which was great because we were tired when we arrived.

The hostel shares residence with the hotel next door, with most of the facilities shared (with the exception of the rooms, of course). It is a convenient distance from all the major attractions in Groningen as well as ~10 minutes walk from the train station. The rooms were quite comfortable and clean, although internet access was somewhat painful as it was necessary to obtain individual codes for every device being used and staff were not always available to provide.
