Recommended if you want to get to the underbelly of Moldovan life and see how locals live. Not a hostel but a homestay in a Soviet style apartment block in a great area just out from town centre . Babushka does not speak English but if you speak Russian you can have an entertaining time. Offered lethal homebrew.

Not so much a hostel but an old woman's apartment, like the other reviewer has said. She speaks no English but is quite nice and makes good breakfast! It's sort of out of the way of the city center so you have to take a bus or tram to get downtown, but it's nice and quiet.
