Loved staying here; Buso was the best. Although she didn't speak much English and I spoke no Croatian, we managed very well and became friends. We had planned to stay here only one or two nights, but ended up returning to Split a couple more times as we took the ferries to various islands...each time we came back to Bulovic. Being above the bakery and waking up to fresh bread smells every morning was the best, as was the fresh market directly across the street.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bulovik guesthouse. A warm and friendly guesthouse with a very congenial host. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody.

We booked this the morning we were due to arrive and although the lady hadn't received the reservation, let us leave our bags whilst she sorted a room for us. She was very friendly and the room was clean with good WIFI and a TV. Central location and easy to find with the directions provided. Bakery downstairs isn't up to much but there are plenty of places nearby to eat and drink. A very pleasant stay overall!

The location cannot be beat. Just look down the corridor off the main street when you try to find it. It has nice ambiance, it's more like staying at someones house than renting an apartment, as the facilities are shared and the room's closet was still full of the owner's things. The owner is really nice though, and the location is two blocks from port/bus station/downtown.

The location is more than perfect! The room was big and in the window the view was the Dioclesian palace :) ... you have A/C, your own mini fridge, a fan, wifi, everything you need! Bosa the owner is lovely and super helpful! will definitely recommend!

Very central, right next to gate to old town. Recommend this as a clean friendly place to stay. It's not somewhere you're likely to meet others if that's what you're looking for- there's only a few rooms. They're all very clean, air conditioned and have TVs though! Definitely recommend it.

We were happy that the apartment was right in the centre of Split and in walking distance to the Old Town and the port. The bedrooms were clean and the bathroom was always clean and tidy. Bosa (I think that’s how her name is spelt, sorry) was very hospitable, friendly and made us feel at home.

We stay only one night, but was really good. The location was excelent, next to the port, bus station, market, city centre, etc. The room was great, with air conditionate and good bed. The lady that onws the place was very nice and healpful. Ivana, the girl that helps in the apartment, was amazing, very kind.We have a problem to get ferry tickets to Hvar, and Ivana help us and save our lifes. If i ever come back to Split i definitely will stay there.

This was good for one night stay before our boat cruise as near the port, air conditioned room, no facilities just purely a room and shared bathroom, lady let us in very early as we arrived at 8am, we left our stuff and room was ready by 11am - great early check in!!!

Excellent location! Owner has little English, but tourist info centre is 5 min away. Small rooms, No common room or kitchen. Only one bathroom for everyone. Recommend for a cheap stopover in split.

Charming place to stay! Simple but nice and clean, and with a personal touch in the deocorations etc. I was warmly welcomed and felt relaxed and comfortable staying there. My room had both air condition, a fan, tv and a fridge. And even though the place is located right in the center close to the road and the old town it was fairly quiet. Easy to find when I followed directions, and the entrance in a "dark alley" mentioned in someone elses review was just a few meters in from a busy main road ;)

Nice place to stay in private but if going for the social travelling experience there's no social aspect here. Main member of staff is the woman who owns it, she's nice!
