Good hostel to stay in Little India, ten minute walk from the MRT which takes you everywhere. Really clean and a nice terrace n the 2nd floor to hang out (and even cook if you like). Free breakfast
Definitely recommend Bunc@Radius; very cute, great staff, washer and dryer (must pay but they provide detergent), excellent breakfast, good location. However while the common area was nice and cool, the rest of the hostel (including the rooms) ranged from warm to hot. I live in northern Japan and so it was uncomfortable at times for me.
Pretty Soulless in all. Rooms were laid out ok but windowless. Showers were moldy and no soap in dispensors. Wifi didn't work in my room except after 3am.$3 for a towel PLUS $5 deposit gives you some idea of how this 200+ bed Hostel views its guests. 'Free Breakfast' is 2 kinds of cereal or toast with a choice of jams- Ugh. For the price you guys could do much better.
Best spot in little India. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Lockers and keycard entry and great shared bathroom. Breakfast is toast, cereal (sugar hit) and coffee. Comfy bed and snug little pod with personal light.
