For the price you pay you can't complain. 5 min walk to the night bazaar and market. Beds on first floor don't have a proper door and is a walk through for everyone else. But has hot showers, lockers, same day laundry and good wifi connection.

Nice place but not hot water. Pets are lovely . Very cold in the night

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and close location to night marlet and bazaar.

Great hostel with a great owner! When you have questions of the surrounding just ask him! He knows everything! Friendly and helpful staff and a great atmosphere every evening in front of the hostel. I stayed there twice and it was both times great! I'll definitely stay there again!

It's a shame that the hostel is filled with so much great art, because other than that it was kind of gross. Showers were dirty, the beds are rock hard (harder than average Thai hostel beds), and the blanket given was extremely skratchy and small. There were lots of other travellers there which was great but no real space for everyone to hang out so lots of people just drank in the massive dorm room while others tried to sleep. It was ok for one night but I was desperate to leave the next day.

We got the room on the 5 th floor ... Hard for just 1 night ...

Had an amazing time at this hostel and met some great people! Fantastic atmosphere and the tattoo artist here was awesome!

A lot of great people and the staff was friendly as well. There was only 3 toilets in the whole hostel. The two kittens in the reception was the best part :)))) we stayed in another hostel before but moved to this instead, which was a good decision. If you want to meet other backpackers and drink beer on the roof, this is the best hostel in chiang mai for you!

Had a great time at this hostel. It is a very creative and artistic environment and everyone there was very friendly and having a great time. However it had bedbugs and the washrooms were poorly maintained.

Very good for what you're paying. Great atmosphere, very easy to meet people. The location is a little outside the old city about 5 minutes walking from the night market and 20 minutes walking to the gate.

All the experience was good. Happy with the staff but the cleanliness is an issue. Broken taps and dirty bathrooms

A little dirty and no ac. But good times had there. Guy tries to sell you every trip, elephant ride, and scooters under the sun. But it's pretty Chur. Chur.

Loved this hostel! One of the best one's in asia. Met a lot of nice people and the owner is really nice and helpful. We all went out one night with the owner to the ladyboy show, it was such fun. It was my friend and me(girls) and the rest guys, they were all over the guys it was hilarious to see. The show was amazing, definitely worth it, we had all a lot of fun. Of course we went out afterwords, one of the best nights out yet :) location is amazing as well and chiang mai is beautiful.

This place was really quite terrible! It is really dirty and smelled so bad when I was there. The facilities are pretty poor - there's only one good shower in the whole place that houses around 22 (not sure exactly how many) people, there is another one right above a toilet so not exactly ideal, and another one outside. A couple of the staff members were nice and helpful, but one of them was quite rude, arrogant and pushy when I was trying to organise a hike to go on. Security wasn't the best.

Owner of the hostel is great, really tries to make sure his guests have a good time. It's not the most luxurious place but the hostel is so cheap it's a great deal for what you pay. Great atmosphere, I met lots of other solo travellers during my stay. And the puppies were lots of fun! Thanks!

Cheap and decent, kind of annoying location but not to bad, met some cool people but the owner is far to pushy trying to sell treks/tours.

great atmosphere with plenty of people to get down and live it up in the beautiful city of Chiang mai

We arrived and the porch was full of trash. My friend and I are real animal lovers but the place smelled like cats. It was disturbing. We also stepped into urine and excrement during our stay. On which the staff just confirmed it happens time to time and didn't do anything about it. Waiting for the cleaning lady to clean it up I guess. It is a really cheap hostel, that's a good thing. But we had better hostels for the same Price.

Good value for money

Very social. Owners were really nice. Not the best hostel facility.
