Nice party hostel. There was not any common area where to hang and talk with others. Only place is the bar, and that is not the same thing... Also, be aware that the extremely good reviews are typed by the staff in exchange for free beer... Takes the value down...

I feel really free- people are really energetic. Met lots of new friends. If you dont have any place to stay in Brisbane you should come to BUNK

Excellent Location, but sometimes cockroaches in the toilet. Staff is friendly and the bar next to it is cheap where you also can meet people. Definitely a party hostel!

This hostel is amazing! It has the ambience of what backpacking is all about....fun! As well as being clean and comfortable and staffed with cool and helpful locals . I have seen many hostels during my time travelling and can't speak highly enough about this one. Located in Fortitude Valley which is where you want to be in Brisbane ... leave the CBD for the bankers and meet someone new by the pool in Bunk's very own restaurant and bar. Guaranteed you wont leave without a big smile on your face!

Only stayed one night in a double room and we didn't even use the kitchen so i can't really comment on the facilities, but what i can say is that the bed was one of the best i've slept in in a hostel and the free breakfast was such an amazing surprise! Staff were really helpful and nice so overall we had a great stay. It's a bit out of the way if you wanna get to the CBD but the location was great for us since we needed to go elsewhere. Long live the comfy bed!!!

Decent enough hostel - nothing special, but the food in the adjacent bar/club is good. Breakfast is nothing to shout about but better than a slap in the face (that costs 20 odd AUD). Full of 18 year old first time travellers on mummy and daddy's money who haven't left Brisbane/that hostel in two months - don't expect intellectual conversation or real fun that gets you arrested or something. Teeny bopper discos or douchebags with guitars/ukeleles playing Ed Sheeran

This was my first stay in a Hostel and my first stop in Australia. I had an great time. The bar games are great, Toddie spitfire is so much fun! He's a little bit frightening but you can get free beers off him if you take some clothes off in a chair game. The rooms are clean and the staff behind the front desk are really helpful. I'm coming back next month to see some friends that i made who are working in Brisbane. There's lots of French people living here who can't get work in Sydney

My stay in BUNK was very nice. My room was a 20-share one and although so many people live in it, it was very clean and tidy. The rooms are cleaned every day. The staff is really helpfull and friendly and the people behind reception helped me with any problem I had. The hostel in total is very nice. I enjoyed the pool, a drink in the BIRDEES bar and a really nice and cheap meal in LA COCINA (the mexican fatfries are amazing!!). I am definitely coming back to this hostel!

My stay at BUNK was nice. I really liked the atmosphere, my room and the cute girls behind reception. They are all very friendly and help you with any problem you have. Also the Frenchies are sooo funny! I will come back soon!

Staff was open and friendly which was definetly welcoming. Typically the hostel was clean but when it wasn't I'm sure it was mostly due to some stupidity by other guest but that's a given with any hostel being visited. Overall I'm pleased with my stay. So pleased infact that I added more time to my stay

The hostel was everything that it promised to be: clean and cheap, right next door to lovely china town The facilities were good and the staff was friendly and clearly knowledgable of the area. The hostel is super big though, the kind of big where it actually gets harder to meet people. The free breakfast was quite nice! The windows of de dorms are on the side of the bar (the bar is cool btw), so if you'd like to get some fresh air you get free music as well. Either love it or hate it ;)
