Fairly decent as hostels go. Good atmosphere, cool people, great location, free breakfast, big kitchen, nice bar with frequent events and cheap food & drink. Met quite a few great people here who made my stay in boring Brisbane more interesting. Bedrooms have wall divisions for increased privacy, which some people call unsociable even though it's not exactly difficult to walk around the corner and speak to someone. Would recommend. Lots of bugs though.

I had an amazing! The place is clean- staff are friendly and rooms are big- with windows- good atmosphere with the bar!!!

It's a nice hostel, not the best one though. The staff was friendly but the rooms are really tiny, there's not much space to move around. There's a nice bar at the hostel with cheap drink deals but because of that you can't drink your own drinks at the hostel.

The bar staff were unfriendly and impatient. The hostel is situated on the corner of a one way street making it difficult to stop there in a car when attempting to check in. If you overshoot it you are forced to drive all the way over the Story Bridge. We hired 2 of their bicycles which were in a shocking condition (flat tyres and no brakes!).

The hostel seems to be full of people just wanting to get smashed, so if that's you're scene then great. Not a good place to relax. The staff were either obnoxious or disinterested, the common areas were pitiful if you didn't want to go to the attached bar and the bathrooms were rarely clean. There was a total lack of customer care, I was waved in the general direction of the dorm and the beds were unallocated, in a pokey dorm this was just an unnecessary pain.

Hundreds (!) of cockroaches in room at night in dorms on second floor! Switched to four bed dorm including drunk party guys making out with random girls. Very much a noisy party hostel within Brisbanes prime party district. Won't come again.

The only thing I didn't like about Bunk was cleanliness. They should have cleaned bathroom more often.

I've stayed at Bunk on a number of occasions. The staff are always amazing and ready to assist with anything you need. it has a great location for any activities you wish to do in Bisbane, close to the city, tours and nightlife. Definitley reccommend highly. I'll see you there soon!

I didnt think I would like this hostel but I was very impressed! It had everything you needed and the staff were great!

Clean, 20 minute walk to Brisbane city centre, friendly staff. Very noisy didn't get much sleep. Good for a party hostel if that's what you want.

very unsocial hostel segregated rooms with a wall down the middle so u cant see anyone else in the room or talk to them. no good place to socialise like a tv room had to stay a week because i couldnt get any money back most boring week iv had in my 6 month stay in australia cant wait to check out.

Completely awesome stay! Only problem was it was too short. When I stop in Brisbane on my way back to Sydney, I will definitely be staying at here.

We just came back from visiting friends in Brisbane and stayed in a private room in Bunk Backpackers. I can highly recommend Bunk Backpackers to anyone who wants to stay in Brisbane! The room was really clean, and the bathroom was spotless, comfy mattress, relaxing atmosphere and great and really friendly staff. Perfect location in Fortitude Valley with easy public transport to/from the airport and a short walk to/from the close train station 'Fortitude Valley'. Many thanks guys, Marina

Big a nice hostel. Friendly staff and bar just in front of the hostel. Activities organized every day, sometimes with cash prizes. Close to the center of the city (walking distance) and 5 min from the supermarket. Near by is full of pubs with good deal like 6$ steak etc.. Located in the valley (like kings cross for Sydney) so is perfect if you wanna party. Internet is not free and could be slow at peak times. Free pool table. I extended my stay here three times :D
