Such a clean, friendly and fun backpackers! Really great location in the valley and backing onto a nightclub couldn't ask for a better spot or bunch of guys who looked after us thanks legends!

You want to really enjoy your time travelling AUstralia (Brisbane) ensure you hit Bunk Packers for a cheap, fun-filled stay. Cheap alcoholic beverages. ;)

The room was clean, free breakfast a plenty. really friendly staff, the manager was really quite funny. Good bar and located in the cool Valley. will stay again on my way back down the coast. Thanks Bunk!

We went in a room voor 8 people. Only 1 AC, wich does not work very wel, so Very hot! Not a lot of space, so we escaped to another hostel!! This was to noisy!

Really nice hostel. No food in rooms so if you felt like a snack you would have to go all the way to the kitchen to get one.

Friendly staff, cool lay out, had a problem with our dorm so got a free upgrade no problems ;)

Everything was excellent. The ginger man on reception was a delight! Beds were a bit squeaky ;)

Bunk is probably the best Western hostel I have stayed in. The hostel itself provides a free drink to all who have just checked in, which is a great way for lone travellers like myself to meet people. The rooms are set out in a way which allows you to have your own private space, which is great for long term stayers. I went to Birdees pretty often, and had a great time. The $5 discount off the mains allowed me to ear pretty cheaply. I will definitely recommend.

Good atmosphere, great, friendly, helpful staff. A hostel must be fun like that always. Bar, guitar, fun. 10!!!

Very nice. The birdees is a club into the hostel. You meet lot of interesting people there every nights. Well located. You can hire a bike for 1 day for 5$. Deluxe rooms are very confortable. I loved its pillows!

For two nights there were cockroaches in and around our beds. The staff at reception told us they needed to see them before anything was done, they did say we could move rooms but during our time in the lobby another couple were complaining of ants in their room. The kitchen is no where near big enough to cope with the size of the hostels and is poorly equipped. During our 4 nights we had to eat with spoons as there were about 3 forks. Poor location.

1. You get a free pint for a review 2. The best review receives $100 bar tab. So most bunk reviews cant be trusted. But to be honest this is a pretty good hostel. The staff are great the rooms are good... So yeah great hostel. My one problem with bunk was the cockroaches, loads and loads of cockroaches all over the place. Also if you don't like the party vibes it can be a bit much (i love to party so thats a plus for me) but yeah the highlight was defiantly the staff.

DORMS WERE EXCELLENT

The night staff at check in were rude, inappropriate and unacommodating. In addition, there was no alcohol allowed in the rooms which forced guests to pay to drink at the hostel bar. We didn't find it to be a friendly atmosphere and we normally never have problems meeting new people. Overall, this would be one of the worst hostels we've stayed at from all over the world.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff- even got a free ride to our next hostel! However, I found the hostel to be quite noisy (but we did have one of the rooms near the bar). The rooms were very cramped with not enough room to put your stuff near your bed. Had a twin share room for one night, which was a single bunk bed with barely enough space to walk round the bed, and cupboards to put our stuff in that were so close to the end of the bed they wouldn't even open! Location was good.

Only stayed one night as a stopover between a flight from Gold Coast and a flight out of Brisbane. Served it's purposed brilliantly with easy public transport to/from both these airports and the hostel. They'll even pick you up if you get off at Central Station. Although if you've not much baggage it's an easy walk from the closer station, 'Fortitude Valley'. Dorm good. Beds have own power socket/light & shelf. There are large lockers in the dorm. Wifi ($4 for 24 hours) works well in dorm.

Cool place, fun atmosphere and nice staff. A real shame that one of the staff members Stole my bottle of vodka though..

Pretty good location near city centre!!! Pool, bar and a huge kitchen included. Very nice!!!
