Very friendly and helpful reception staff- even got a free ride to our next hostel! However, I found the hostel to be quite noisy (but we did have one of the rooms near the bar). The rooms were very cramped with not enough room to put your stuff near your bed. Had a twin share room for one night, which was a single bunk bed with barely enough space to walk round the bed, and cupboards to put our stuff in that were so close to the end of the bed they wouldn't even open! Location was good.

Only stayed one night as a stopover between a flight from Gold Coast and a flight out of Brisbane. Served it's purposed brilliantly with easy public transport to/from both these airports and the hostel. They'll even pick you up if you get off at Central Station. Although if you've not much baggage it's an easy walk from the closer station, 'Fortitude Valley'. Dorm good. Beds have own power socket/light & shelf. There are large lockers in the dorm. Wifi ($4 for 24 hours) works well in dorm.

It was raining so didn't use the pool - but it didn't look great. The ping pong comp is a winner- really good fun.

Bunk is a great hostel, I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Brisbane, Its in the Valley which is a funky area with great/cheap meals and Birdees the bar attached Bunk has a cool Mexican restaurant, if you show your key you get $5 off some of the dishes (The burrito is soooo filling and delish!) We also got one of the 3ltr cider towers which was a fun gimmick! The night we were there was Kareoke night with a cash prize! Staff were really nice too!

More privacy and personal space than in other hostels and huge lockers (enough for the whole backpack and additional space for other little things), but I missed the atmosphere. Kitchen is not around the corner, but therefor nice and big.

Hostel was decent, good to be in 10 person room. Hostel bar was very much needed to add character, and was easy to meet lots of people. Otherwise, pretty decent hostel. Would recommend to people in future for hostel bar and very good staff

The bartenders over charge for beer, they don't even know how much it's supposed to be during happy hour. And the staff working at the front desk were indifferent when I told them. The american girl working at the excursions desk is good though. No free wifi=lame

Pretty large hostel, but well laid out. The continental breakfast every morning is only toast, cereal, and coffee, but that was good enough for me. It was actually one of the quieter hostels I've stayed at, but I was not in the section by the bar.

Nice staff. Far outside the center. Pricy to get there. Good, when you stay just for a night.

Loved the free breakfast rooms where cosy and the way they are designed you dont feel like your in a dorm quite priate. Thought the welcome could have been handeld better. Wad given a purple drink then left outside by tethe pool with a dozen other confussed people.
