Kitchen closes way too early. It's not nice to try to cheat the hostel world review system! Even if it's nice to get free beers....

Beds were comfortable and even 20 beds dorms were quiet and peaceful. It was really special that everyone had own nightlights and powerpoint. Sadly we noticed that there were bugs everywhere in the hostel. After killing 15 cockroaches in a dorm we changed the room but there was the same problem. At first the staff was understanding and kind but later they started to behave differently and not that kind. Staff seemed to be a bit tired and mean all the time, except the two male staff members.

Great Hostel. Close to night life (has its own bar too), train station, shopping, food and cheap parking! Rooms were comfy and clean and staff were awesome! I definately recommend Bunk and will stay there again

We stayed in a twin room and the room was tiny, barely any room for our bags. We had a shared bathroom which wasn't very clean and had a number of cockroaches in it. You have no control over the air con in your room so we had to sleep in a cold room listening to a loud buzzing all night because of it. When checking-in the staff allowed people to interrupt us and then served them first, meaning that we were left waiting in damp clothes.

The location is far and it's very noisy. However, the atmosphere is fun.

This is a party hostel so the music is loud. Always better to know beforehand. The kitchen would get very messy even though it was cleaned twice a day....it's just that the other guests did not care. It is a well equipped kitchen. The beds are comfy and very well arranged.

staff were generally rude and unhelpful, didn't bother to tell me as i was ordering food that $5 off when you stay in hostel (i was clearly staying there) then when i found out just after paying they refused to refund.. spent one night in cockroach infested room with water pouring through window frames and when checked out reception refused to take us in to town unless people were to be picked up, luckily there were... kitchen has no opening windows and poor ventilation,

Great value for money, although as a solo traveller I would appreciate a proper common room that Bunk unfortunately doesn't have.

Don't expect a bus pickup from the station after 4 - not mentioned in their mail. Train journey costs about $5

Everything was excellent about this place except we were put in a room directly overlooking the bar which was very noisy and went on until 5am weekends and 3am weekdays. If you are there to party its great, if you're not then you will struggle to get a decent nights sleep. However kitchen was the best Ive seen and rooms/bathrooms v clean. Great that you get your own locker, socket & reading light!

I liked the personal reading light and outlet in each bed. It's a huge, but still able to meet people. Food at the bar is great!
