They have tried hard, and it shows. But to me this hostel lacks a heart. It's because facilities are divided into two buildings, without an actual lounge/living room. The bar looks cool, but doesn't encourage lone travelers to meet that much. Staff is very good and friendly.They have tried hard, and it shows. But to me this hostel lacks a heart. Bunk is amazing, the staff are the best you will find and the place is just such a fun place to be. Weather you be a working holiday visa backpacker or on a short backpacking trip you will love this place no doubt! Be prepared for some good times ladies and gents! The bedroooms are roomy and its really cool that you get your own plug and light, not many places give you that!Bunk is amazing, the staff are the best you will find and the place is just such a fun place to be. Well what can I say about the place that was my home for 11 weeks other that it\'s the best hostel I have ever stayed in, had some amazing times here and met some cool people. The staff really are great, they make the place that little bit better as not only are they approacable and helpful they also are a great laugh! Oh and the bar Birdee Num Nums is a place I will never forget, loved it!!! Right in the middle of the valley - which is good for weekend. Staff were really good fun and very helpful. The Hostel bar was full of students attracted by the cheap drinks - so became a little unbearable at times. Room (8 share dorm) look pretty new and are pretty good except for the awful beds - I have never heard so much creaking from so little movement. Every night, every bed and just a whole load of noise - I had intended to stay longer but this was one of the main reasons I cut it sho...MoreRight in the middle of the valley - which is good for weekend. This is an amazing party hostel with an immense bar. The location and facilities are excellent and the staff are great, especially the blonde receptionist, li,who is the nicest and most beautiful girl i have ever met. the rooms were way to small and squished it was musty and smelled like mould. i woke up the next day sick and i am still sick from spending one night in the room.

The bathrooms in my room smelt of pee, really bad and the area near the watch/cook area also smelt bad too. The best thing about this hostel is the staff: they are all very nice and helpfull. There is quite some noise from the bar, so don't expect to have a good night sleep. I think it's a pity that the bar is the central place of the hostel and there is no other place where you can just relax and hang out and meet other people.
