This place is adorable, the bar has beds for couches and fairy lights, loved it. Bit hipster, but thats why i thought it was cute. Beds were comfortable enough, had lockers which was good. Kitchen facilities include a microwave and kettle, so not extensive. Right in the middle of town, a 2 min walk from castle and 20 seconds from tesco supermarket. Staff were very friendly, keen to help when asked. Great great value for money.

Not enough lockers in the rooms. Showers are too small. Otherwise it's an excellent hostel in a great location with very nice staff

We had quite alot of trouble using the kitchen facilities, by that I mean the microwave and kettle. Their system is that they clean your dishes themselves, but often that job was done quite poorly. Otherwise the hostel is really great.

A great central location. The lockers were a little on the small side and not enough in the room compared to the number of beds. Nice staff, free WiFi and no charge when paying with card.

Amazing location, but the actual hostel rooms were very small, we were surprised that they had 3 high bunkbeds in the rooms. Bar & common area was really lovely with lots of character. Staff member in the morning was quite rude when we were asking for somewhere to store our bags and told us as there was a band on that night there was nowhere for us to leave them... then proceeded to tell us that 'pretty much nowhere in Europe offered bag storage' As frequent travellers we know this isn't true!

Great location. The bar underneath the hostel is awesome. Staff were helpful. We were in a 7 bed dorm and all the bunks are very close together. The showers by us were awful - filled with the previous persons scummy shower water. Also thought it would be good to have a basin seperate from the toilet cubicles.

Very nice hostel overall. New and clean. The only downside is that is it located on the drinking street in Cardiff, so great if you\'re planning to go out on Friday and Saturday night, but if not, bring some earplugs!

the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were well decorated, the bunkhouse is in a brilliant location in the city centre of Cardiff and having a bar down stairs was a nice way to finish the day, my only negative comment is at night it can be rather noisy, having a bar downstairs i could hear bins on glass bottles being taken out, drunks from the close by club shouting and the building backs on to a pelican crossing that beeps but i still got a good night sleep as you adjust to the noise.

This hostel was the best I've stayed in UK so far! If you stay there you can enjoy: a free interesting city tour, a wonderful and helpful staff, a good location, free pub crawls every week nights, clean rooms and facilities (which includes a chill out room with a lot of pillows) and last but not least the bus bar!!!

Excellent location, though on weekends it might be hard to get sleep since party is going on all the night outside the hostel. The breakfast was good, the athmosphere very friendly and the staff was helpful.

The hostel had some really good points and some really bad ones. The bad ones were: pillows were lumpy and horrible to sleep on (lucky i'd had a few drinks before i went to bed). Showers were the smallest i've ever seen and had no area to get undressed or hooks to put your dry clothes. the screens while 'frosted' made me feel uncomfortable that they were see through. The good points were security was really good, the decor was cool - very feminine though, and the location was spot on.

I really liked this hostel. The staff members were helpful with all of the questions we had. Good location. The common area is quite nice. However, we stayed during the winter and the rooms were incredibly cold and we were unable to turn the heat up. Overall, it was a nice stay. I'd come back.

Great staff. Free breakfast for early risers. Central location in a beautiful part of town, lots of local nightlife nearby, within a block or two of several free museums, and the Cardiff Castle. Near two train stations and the bus stations.

Really funky bar/common room, nice comfy beds but no kitchen which was the only down side. Great location good if you want to party in Cardiff.
