Mixed feelings about this one. It was a great location, very clean but my experience wasn't great. I was in the female only dorm, at 2AM some drunk guy comes in (I don't know how he did, we have keycards for the rooms?) pees on the radiator, then tries to climb into my bed, when he realized I was there he apologized and fell asleep in another bed. When we got the staff we got rid of him, but I'm not impressed that it happened. My other complaint is that the showers were SCALDING.

The entrance hall which is a bar impressed me a lot because it creates a really welcoming atmosphere. The room (6 beds, mixed) was just normal. What was missing were individual lamps near the beds and the heater should have been explained to us whicle checking in. But if you are generally used to hostel sleeping it is a quite nice one. The central location is hardly beatable!

May be a bit noisy in shared dorms but overall good location (5mins from train station) and really nice interior.

The Place was nice and buzzing with activity . Location is fantastic within walking distance from Cardiff castle , millennium stadium and cardiff central train station. The complimentary breakfast was nice . Drinks were bit costly but the 10% discount for guests was a saviour. Bar area was quite happening.

Bathrooms are not very useful, there is no intimity at all! Staff is not really welcoming but it was ok regarding the price.

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed in, certainly in Britain. Hostels are simple, affordable and friendly, and a great way to meet people you would never normally meet. If I'm travelling alone, they are a much more preferable choice to the relative isolation of staying in a hotel.

This Hostel was amazing, everything u could possibly require as a traveller. Everything was clean and well maintained coupled with a location smack bang in the middle of Cardiff makes the place next to perfect. Will definitely be back

The rooms are not spetacular and the showers were terrible. I could not figure out how to make the water flow constantly, instead it was similar to a faucet in a public toilet where you push the buttom and get water for a few seconds. It was cold water as well. The common areas were beautiful though, and the staff very helpful.

I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone. The rooms were very clean and quite spacious. Bathrooms very clean also. Every door can only be opened with a security card so this too is good. The common area downstairs is beautiful and a really cool place to hang out and have drinks from their full bar. Coffee is also amazing. Good WIFI services. The location is incredible right on a busy street surrounded by bars, clubs and restaurants. Give this place a 5/5. STAY HERE!!!!

The only thing that would make your place better is if the wifi reached the rooms.

Few (I cannot remember how many.) power plug inside the room. Free wifi at the lobby. Nice location. Only one thing not satisfied is that bit lack of shower booth/toilet. But other things were fine.

The only problem we encounter was the people sharing our room turned the lights on at 6 am. Everything else was great! The staff was friendly, the building felt clean, and it had a brilliant location.

Crazy amount of security cameras... like 24 i think someone mentioned on here. However, this is hardly a bad thing. Security is great but there is a point where it becomes invasive. Staff is alright. There was really only 1 person out of the entire staff that was friendly and hospitable. Everyone else was stern and a bit cold at times. The rooms are comfortable and the place has a great vintage feel.
