For 8 dollars a night it was pretty good. The staff was really friendly and accommodating, as well as super pretty. Big restaurant with good food. I stayed in the dorms which did not have air con so it was a bit warm. Beds are of average comfort. Really close to the bay but there isn't much to do down there.

Buoy´s location is excellent: only 500 meters from Harbor Square, close to Boulevard Roxas. The Owner is a helpful charming man, the Staff is affable, the price reasonable. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Instead of leaving the room open for most of the time (which was instructed by the hostel staff), it is highly preferable to lock the door when there was no tenant and every tenant should be given a key to access the room.

It's easy to reach because it's opposite to famous Century Park Hotel, 500m walking to Vito Cruz where you can get in LRT 1to Intramurous or Rizal Park, near Robinson mall where you can shopping. It's have special architecture which you will be interested in. Staffs are welcome and polite. Strong free wifi in accomodation. We lived in an female ensuite without an aircon in hotest April. So we can't sleep well in the evening. Can buy water and snack with suitable price at accomodation reception

Nice hostel in a good and secure location in Malate with a restaurant with pool table and really helpful staff who answers you every question patiently. You can walk to the nearby mall, supermarkets, restaurants, waterfront and sights like Rizal Park and the cathedrals.

The rooms were nice and big, with plenty of space for luggage. Getting the airconditioning is worth the extra money. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very easy for the taxi driver to find.

A fine place too stay in a fine location too. A short walk away from LRT (Vito Cruz station). Places like Manila old city, the park near UN Av. and the Mall of Asia are all not too far. Quite clean, quite... there are lockers but you need to have your own padlock or rent one and pay extra (very little but it should be noticed before as well as there are towels for hire but also paid extra). Nice and friendly staff, especially the girls by the bar at the restaurant. All in all, happy with my stay!

Its a hostel set behind a bar. A cute little place somewhat between the airport and downtownt. The food at the restaurant is restaurant priced, so pack a lunch. Overall pretty good.

This hostel is good , the location is also good , the price is very reasonable . but Wifi is not so good . I think this hostel is the best price in manila . It is a restaurant , and behind is the hostel, very quiet and large floor .

It's a real gem. Great to find a clean and quiet place in manic Manila. Good location and really friendly staff made our stay most enjoyable. Just started as a hostel, so prices are very good value. Highly recommended as a base for exploring the Philippines.
